Can only assume poch will be incredibly frustrated. Doesn’t seem to get the players he most wants to me.

Spot on

He even pointed out how keen Levy was on Sissoko after he wrecked us 2 seasons ago. Suggesting it was Levy and not him getting his man.

If there ever was a manager to back it is Poch

This thread turned into a dumpster fire in a hurry. Looks like we are in mid-window form already!

When you have bad ITK about Toby and also Barkley the way it has today don’t expect anything happy.

The perception is we miss our targets often and are still a selling club to some degree while our rivals generally don’t have these issues so much. Maybe that’s right, maybe that’s wrong.

Some positive ITK would quickly change the mood though fickle as we are.:)

Re Barkley. Originally we were under the impression he would be back in training end of November early December due to a couple of setbacks it took longer. We wanted to be sure he was fully fit before signing him which means the Summer now. Barkley is desperate to go to the WC and knows he needs to play in order to do so, and that means moving now. Put those two together and that means it's very unlikely to be to us.

Well let's see who we decide to being instead.

We will bring somebody in won't we?

Won't we?

To get the thread back on topic Richalidson could either be the next Mahrez or the next Michu/Ighalo etc I'm not sure he would be worth the price Watford would want... he does miss a lot of chances

We may need to break our January rule if we don’t want to lose out on our long/current targets. Zaha, Barkley and even Malcom could all move in Jan and if we don’t move with the times we’ll be left scratching our heads come the summer when we once again fail to sign the calibre of players we require. The club needs to evolve, not stand still and moan. Zaha and Barkley both expressed interest in joining us and given how difficult it is to attract players whom are both good enough and affordable, we’d be stupid to turn our noses up at them if they’re available now.

100k per week isn't a 'free hit'. If he doesn't work out nobody else would pay those wages either. Signing an injured player is a gamble. We'll see if Levy agrees I guess.

Also you wont be able to insure him?
