I'm like a Taarabt, but without the skills.

I used to watch Jimmy Quinn at Posh - I'd like to pay like that nowdays. Never get out of breath, totally cool and always pop up with a goal. In reality I run around for 5 minutes like my pants are on fire, then once my legs have gone I kick out at opposition players as they run past me. I do still have a decent shot though.

Teddy Sheringham, my idol. I always took penalties top corner to the keepers left like Teddy always did. Worked everytime

I used to study Ronaldo (the proper one) when I was a bit younger & that definitely improved my close control when running, heading and general finishing.

I tend to play either DM or RM. When I play DM I like to keep things simple, so when Carrick was at Spurs I used to watch him. When I was about 13, my coach who was also a Spurs fan said my ability to read and play the game reminded him of Teddy Sheringham and Teddy was my first hero at Spurs so I suppose I watched him quite closely-although the abililty to read a game like Teddy is natural rather than practiced!!

u cant learn from a player like berbatov he has a gift its impossible to copy him its not like he does tricks or amazing runs he just is in the right place at the right time with an amazing touch.

I disagree, you can definitely learn much from studying players like Berbatov.

I think Teddy was probably my first footballing influence, have always loved players that play the game at their pace, and the game is played more in their head than anywhere else.

he is a legend. one of the greatest players to grace football. A pleasure.

If he goes, so be it (to an abroad club i hope) but he will not be forgotten! Pure class, and we can say we had him for two years when man utd should have had him instead!

Jimmy Greaves....sigh .

You sidefoot your shot with accuracy but not power ..you never really made much effort to head the ball...and you always, I said ALWAYS , dribble round the keeper when through on goal :)
