You are right as far as the likes of Dier and Winks are concerned. Been England internationals until recently and I'm sure they'll move for more than the numbers quoted in that post.
I agree but Dier has a major drawback in not being homegrown which might put a few clubs off.

I have a completely unsubstantiated feeling that Vieira's Palace might be interested in a few of our lot.

My estimated values, based on what I think might be accepted:

Winks - £25-30m (homegrown, only 25 and in the right team will potentially get back to the form that got him into the England team)
Sissoko - £10-15m (still gets playing time for the world champions, ahead of Ndombele!)
Lamela - £12-15m (a fraction of what he'd be worth if not for his injuries and contract)
Aurier - £12-15m (£25m if contract wasn't running down)
CCV - £5-10m
Toby - £10m (down from the £40m we reportedly valued him at when Utd were interested 2 years ago)

Dier - £20m (versatile, strong/professional character, still only 27)
or
Sanchez - £25-30m (25, better than we tend to give him credit for, and has impressed for Columbia at three consecutive major tournaments)

Total - £96-125m

The list for those who don’t want to click
the link:

Alderweireld, Aurier, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, CCV and Dier or Sanchez.

I would be happy if we could find buyers for all these players. But I don’t think this would bring in a lot of transfer funds if we want to use the money for first team players.
Be lucky to get 50-60million for them.

Since when does Levy let a quarter of his playing squad leave on the cheap? If teams aren't willing to pay, the players will stay.

You might be right about us only bringing in £50-60m for those players, but that would be with several of them going for a combined £50-60m and the rest staying put.

Lamela, Toby and Sissoko will all go for absolutely nominal fees considering the likely buying clubs may have to pay them a sign on fee to accept a slightly lower wage. Particularly Lamela and Sissoko considering age and injury record. Toby could potentially move to a decent side still but he didn’t have many offers a couple years ago and his stock is only falling. We would do well to get 15m out of that trio to be honest. I wouldn’t mind Toby staying as experienced cover.

Winks or Dier I think would still command a 20m fee each, particularly Winks.

CCV will bring in a decent little fee I reckon, he’s looked good. Maybe 8m.

Aurier rumoured to be around 12m which seems fair with a year left.

So I figure around £70-75m could be coming in. Not much of a warchest let’s face it. May need to supplement the incomings with another loan of some description, or perhaps we’ll just rely on the kids more for backup this year.

Of course if Kane does go this summer it’ll look a lot different.

Levy won't let them leave on the cheap, but at the same time the market will be different from previous seasons due to covid, meaning better value for players.Totally agree with you tho Levy will hold on to some deadwood if his ridiculous value he expects for our junk. On the other hand hope he sets a stupid fee on Kane of 200m plus ?

I like to think he'd set a value of £250m on Kane :)

It’s very hard to value players or guess how much we will get to be honest. The wealth of the buying club and if there’s competition for the player plays a big part.

Let’s try though:

Aldererweireld £5m. Ageing, declining but still a good player who numerous European sides would want. Getting his £80k a week salary off our books will be helpful but as he has no sell on fee I think we’ll struggle to get more than £5m for him.

Aurier £10m. PSG were rumoured to have agreed £15m then pulled out. He has 1 year left on his contract and a few decent Italian sides have been linked.

Dier £20m. I know we don’t rate him but he’s recently been an England international and bottom half teams in the Prem with a bit of money could well be interested.

Sissoko £5m. Similar to TA without any sell on value I see him going for a nominal fee. Might get a bit more.

CCV £5m. Off to the Championship where many will be tightening the purse strings.

Winks £25m. Like Dier while we don’t rate him, he’s better than we give him credit for. Given his age and nationality I see him going for a reasonable fee.

Lamela £7m. Last year of his contract but a good reputation in Italy could see him recoup some money for us.

Sanchez £25m. I have heard he’s having a very good Copa America. Given his age and he could do well outside of the Prem we could get a decent fee for him.

Is that supposed to be Dier at £20m? (You've listed Winks twice?

Are you kidding? Assuming we can sell the lot listed even in these difficult times I would expect between 150 to 160 mil.
Toby 5 to 10 mil. Aurier 20. Winks 30. Sissoko 10. Lamela 25. CCV 5. Dier 30. Sanchez 30.
Most clubs don't sell all the players they want to move out but if we can sell this little lot, with 150 we can buy 3 very good players.

Who the heck is paying those fees especially during this covid era? lol

Don't mistake our chairman's tightness for the norm. Most clubs will find the money if they want players. For instance Brighton have turned down a 50 mil offer from Villa for White. So watch this space.

Therein lies the problem. When you decide to sell a player, you sell them for market rate. If you only accept a fee you deem acceptable, then yes, the player will stay.

And you end up with players who have been here far too long and proved long ago they aren't good enough.

Get the best you can for the shit you don't want.
