Oakland Raiders to win the Superbowl 10 years running!

Oh crap, here come the Patriots...

(and every other team in the NFL to whip our asses..)

Anyway this will I assume be the next thread for NFL as Rob said the old one was getting too long.

Oakland Raiders to win

 Gold it.

Raiders will be no.1 in the draft order next year. Looking at there schedule I think they might win one or two games next season.

I predict the Steelers to take the AFC North and then get our butt handed to us by the Pats in the playoffs...again.

 You've got me there. I can't think of any come back.

Really? You could just turn the attention away from the Steelers and ask him how many times the Eagles have choked deep in the playoffs.

Here's to another McNabb injury this season

Surely pointing out the failings of numerous Eagles' teams is a low blow?

Let him have his glory, it's not as if the Eagles are going to make it to the SB anytime soon.

Ahem, we reside in the NFC.

We were 3 points away from the NFC championship game last season. The key difference this season being, our D doesn't resemble swiss cheese. We are by far and away the most improved team in a weak NFC. Only the Bears will stand in our way this time, and they still have Rex as their QB.

Yeah if you say so. I think you should wait for the season to get going before making outlandish claims like that. After all, who knew the Saints were going to make a run to the NFC championship game last year (and kick your arse twice on the way!)? :-D

Yes, kick our arse by a field goal in each game. Next...

With all their additions in the off-season it seems to me that the Pats are the best placed team in the league to win the SB next season...thats ok with me tho I would be a lot happier to see the Saints go the distance!

Lol, dont be a hater DFF, the saints were THE story of last season and pretty much everyone wanted us to win the SB.....apart from Chicago I guess...we've made some good additions so far, Meachem should be able to step right in from what I've seen along with Colston and do the biz up the field, with that Deuce & Reggie 1-2 punch in the back field, Drew pullin the strings our offense should be even better than last season....just like the Suns tho...its all about the D!

Who do you support.....cowboys? thinkin u may be a texas guy if u follow the spurs?

I wasn't hating. You just reminded me of a joke. Same joke applies with the Bengals and their 'who dey' chant.

You're a Saints fan? Brilliant. Pay back's a bitch.

I'm an Eagles fan, which you'd know if you'd read the posts above.

Whatever improvements you've made, the key difference this season will be that you won't have the whole of America behind you. You'll still have some sympathy, but no where near as many people willing you to win. You'll have create your own momentum this time around.

Chris Henry has somehow managed to take the title of world's biggest idiot away from Ricky Williams. Early reports are saying he's failed a court ordered drug test. If he has the NFL will probably increase his ban from 8 games to banning him for the entire season. What kind of idiot starts taking drugs after what's just happened to him? God, not even Pacman is that stupid.

On another note, Clinton Portis came out with some classic quotes and showed that he obviously didn't study law at uni;

"No big deal if Vick hosted dog fighting"

"I don't know if he was fighting dogs or not, but it's his property, it's his dog,"

"If that's what he wants to do, do it. I think people should mind their business."

"You want to hunt down Mike Vick over fighting some dogs?," Portis told the television station. "I think people should mind their own business."

When told that dog fighting is a felony, Portis replied, "It can't be too bad of a crime."

I'm starting to think some american footballers have lower IQs than David Beckham. I don't think Portis understands the term 'felony'. If it weren't a serious crime they wouldn't have called it a felony, it would be a misdemeanor instead. Jesus christ, I've never been anywhere near the USA and I seem to know more about the legal system there than Portis does.
