subscribes to thread.

if its been posted forgive me.

At the moment the negotiations between Sky and the NFL are being held at very senior level - last week James Murdoch (Sky CEO) met in New York with top NFL staff and lawyers. I can't give you details of those conversations since I don't have them, but I can tell you that they are ongoing.

It is a huge source of frustration for us in the London office, because we obviously want to have this off-season programming on television here as soon as possible - even more so with the game at Wembley coming up and the need to be engaging fans and non-fans with the NFL.

I don't want to be specific and give you a date by which the programming will be on UK television - BUT, I do hope that we will at least have some news for you about how these negotiations have progressed within the next fortnight.

Sorry I can't be any more help, but at this stage I really don't know any more than I have passed on.

Surprise, surprise, yet again another Bengals player has been arrested - that is now 10 Bengals' players arrested in the past 14 months. I think the NFL commissioner might want to punish them badly and make Cincinnati an example for any other team that starts having a growing streak of misconduct.

The best way to punish the Bungals is to take Chad Johnson away and give him to the Steelers...and maybe Carson Palmer as well, he can replace Batch as Big Ben's back up.

Carson Palmer is welcome to move back to California and join the 49ers...

no tickets email :(

what does a dolphin fan need to do to get a ticket ???

Trust me mate it won't be worth going, your season has nearly been destroyed by off the field antics before pre-season has even started - especially now that one of your DTs has just been charged with battery on a police officer, resisting arrest with violence, trespassing and disorderly conduct. Looks like he is either going to be waived by Miami or suspended by the NFL.

Note: Have you tried ebay?

i got a letter giving me a chance to purchase before they go to the general public but the letter came at the time when i am well and truly broke.

Give it to Hutch - obviously for a price;-)

"in order to to buy tickets we invite you to visit our ticketing website www.nfllondon2007.com at 10am UK time on 16th May. Tickets will remain on sale to those lucky enough to be able to purchase tickets for 5days, coming off-sale at 10pm UK time on 20th May. In order to access the secure ticketing site you need to use your personal password, listed below."

is it possible to give it (password n other details) to Hutch, would we get away with it?

Your letter is from the first batch so it's probably expired by now. It's worth a go, you should be able to get away with it because it's not as if you are touting the tickets like some people are on ebay.

really not sure how so many players end up in trouble with the police over there. they make bellamy and co look like saints.

liking the above conversation ! thats very kind

from my understanding the its just the code you need to get through to the purchase page. once there you can use it with a ticket master account.

would def like to give it a try tobi if youre willing to pass it on. (happy to go along with the small price bit too).

gotta be worth a go

Did my first real FF draft for the upcoming season (very early, but necessary for all 12 people to be able to show up). God i love FF.

Yeah, you can't hold down a bunch of FF fanatics in the dead of off-season. :)

We had to make it this early so that all 12 were able to show up due to personal scheduling issues closer to the season. It really makes a difference. Especially when all 12 are hardened FF'ers.

Barring a major injury, we'll be okay (adds a bit of excitement too, e.g. do we risk Portis going down in camp or pre-season, on the upside, healthy, he'll be a top 10 back). The players' ratings won't change between now and season start, only fringe players whose berth depends on their camp performances. They're WW fodder anyway. So it's all good in the hood for now.

A lot of people have already been mock drafting for most of June. The FF juggernaut has pretty much gotten a head of steam now. Roll on September. :???:
