it looked like loft got fouled then threw a punch at the guy clean in the face... then chaos

I thought I saw a kick, but couldn't really tell

Knew he did something bad, but didn't know what. Got some spunk to be doing that. Needs to control his temper though as good as it is to see fight and passion, a hot temper can be risky in football. Hopefully doesn't cost us in the tournie

ref may have abondoned the match
He definitely blew for full time, initially at least, it was the 75th minute. Maybe if it calms down and someone has a word, we will play the last 5 minutes.

Would love to do that, equalise, and see our team's celebration!

I thought it was FT. You know the freekick that was floated in by Ogilvie. I heard the announcer say 73mins. I reckon around 7mins had passed since that. Think they were in stoppage time

Definitely early. The announcer said 75th minute when there was a booking and that was literally moments before it kicked off. Seen mention on twitter of 75th minute too.

Ye saw him go down but didnt see what happened to him. Hopefully they include it in the highlights. You reckon we will get any reds. If so does it affect who we could play in the final.

Btw you hear the fans chant USA USA, to goad our players, as if they didn't top the group
I think you might be disappointed mate

Anyone here got some thoughts on Cameron Carter-Vickers?
From what I've read he sounds decent enough. I'm wondering why the England U19's(?) have not come calling?
He's a dual national & has played some games now for the USA. Is it too late for him to be pursued by England, and do you think he's good enough?

@yankspurs put it brilliantly. Seems like he still hasn't been offered. Is he good enough for England age groups or our first team? If it's the former 100% could probably play upto the u19s/20s. For our first team, probably not yet. He's behind Veljkovic and Ball for me at the moment at CB, both players I think could play for us and not let us down,

Thought's composed, strong, good reader, quickish, decent passer, good in the air and a leader. He can also get forward when he needs to and join attacks. In case you are not aware he has played for US u23s against Brazil as well.

Btw has anyone noticed how much he has grown in the last year, as expected; But he definitely seemed a lot shorter and stocky than he does now

Not only did he play for the US u23s vs brazil, he played very well. The back 4 went to shit when he was subbed off.

He's certainly grown over the past year. Both in stature, mentaltity and as a player. The sky is the limit for this kid, I think. Very excited about his potential. The fact he's still only 16 bodes tremendously well for us. Very excited to see what the rest of season and next season brings.

Oh and if Arsenal fucking poach him, i will quit life. My american teams already have me teetering on the edge. Spurs are the reason i drink. If these fucking gooner ****s poach him, ill steal a boat and drive it right into an ice berg titanic style...or i'll just drink myself into a coma again. Either or.

Carter-Vickers does indeed absolutely drop one of them :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Serious point.. this is the English FA's best chance to get him away from the US setup!

Crazy ain't it. Think their first goal was a GK error then they conceded 2 more when he went off. Wasn't amazing but was as good or better than any of the other US players.

I knew I saw him throwing a small kid around in the brawl, but @TottenhamLegend it was also your man that dropped the american. He ran in and barged the guy who proceeded to roll around. Guess there's no questioning where he allegiance lied at that moment.

Also watched the start of the game we were really dominant. I'm surprised we dominated most of that game as the USMNT contained their good players i.e. Pulisic (who scored and going to Dortmund) and Haji Wright (going to Schalke I believe). We're through as it is but it is encouraging that we should have won and only lost as KWP (who has also grown in last year) lost his footing at that half way line. This was basically the same team that outclassed England 2 months ago in Nike tournament, they may have beaten Brazil (can;t find result), and to think we didn't play as well as we could have especially in the second half is a good sign. Just wish we'd brought Edwards along.

Are they trying to?
