We've lost half our games in 2019. Half.

We were a few points of Top in January. Then the injury crisis really set in.

Yes we haven't recovered but lets not suggest that Pochettino's Spurs side has been rubbish for a long time. It's simply not true.

Guardiola doesn't always start Aguero who is 10x more dynamic than this version of Kane. And Liverpool have a formula working without a traditional 9. Kane wouldn't start in their set up.

He's not pressing for us anymore yet he'd magically up his level for them. FWIW his England performances have not been too impressive either. He's not the best English forward anymore.
England's whole system is built around runners and we barely have a single creative midfielder. It's almost perfectly set up to negate Kane unless he drops deep - which he did excellently when we beat Spain. That's an England problem, not a Kane problem.

I agree he wouldn't be ideal at Liverpool but they'd still create a hell of a lot of chances for him with their wide play and the crosses and cutbacks from their fullbacks. I also think he could score as many as Aguero, if not more, if he was at City and was being coached by Pep.

Wouldn't think so he needs money to spend and lots of it. Daniel would never invest that amount to rebuild what Maureen would want.

Playing devil's advocate here but would he need that much money to rebuild? It's not as if our squad has many holes in it at the moment?

This is SC after a transfer window. Only negativity allowed after a loss.
We accept this and then there will be nowhere to go for Spurs fans who aren’t sat in their toyless prams melting into a puddle of tears. The internet is not just the haven of the panic merchants who are obsessed with media, ITK, and what other supporters think, with a desperate need to buy themselves acceptance from unimportant faceless people in the form of seemingly instant trophy managers. There are fans here too who have some interest in seeing through a tough period without calling for change because we have a system in place that has earned our patience.

You're just getting genuinely worried that you're going to have to get a selfie with Mourinho for your avatar picture, aren't you?

I'm sure you know what you meant here.

If it’s got to the point where people can’t get their head around the point then I pity a lot of people here. But I no longer entertain them.

Actually Poch has tried various different systems over the last 2 years. 3 at the back, diamond etc... But maybe thats the problem, he needs to actually stick to a philosphy and style. You don't see Pep deviate from his philosophy or formation, Klopp also will play the same way regardless. Our philosophy should be work hard, flying full backs and high press like it was before. It's all drifted away too much.

I'm not talking about formations I'm taling of our lack of inventiveness coming to the final 3rd.
It's always been the same.
If we press and win the ball in midfield space is there.
Our lack is not our formations it's our style of play to create space along with our lack of creative players.
Our movement has been slow
It's not the formation.
The passing back and forth in the back line is not the formation

Complete change. Poch is already changing things. But as usual people need it instantly.
Fans always criticise players and managers for lacking loyalty when ironically it's the fans who are the least loyal of them all.

Football is a results based business but if that's literally the only thing people care about then I feel for them.

You can't expect a player to be playing poorly in a rubbish system at club level and then waltz into the England set up and smash it. Sterling wouldn't, Kane doesn't either.

If Kane was part of a functional fluid attacking system at club level, he'd find it easier to replicate that form for England, just like Sterling. It isn't like Kane is missing loads of chances, he just isn't getting service. yes his movement is poor, but he looks fed up and unmotivated. There is no belief or conviction in any of our attacking play. It's a collective failure.

Actually the performances are the problem here. Even when we've been winning, they've glossed over incredibly poor performances. Still waiting for people to name the great performances we've put in under Poch in the last 12 - 18 months? That says it all!

He's basically saying that the moment that things start to go wrong then people want things changed.

I dont think thats necessarily true though.
People here didnt have a meltdown when we lost 13 PL games last season.
It is only happening now because
i) Poch himself is unhinged & his press conference is getting weirder day by day-yesterday said his squad is unsettled.
ii) The results & performance is no good for prolonged period
iii) Today's ITK here

Poch still has loads of credit with the fans including me. But if anyone says , there is no cause for concerns here, then they are kidding themselves.
