Maybe, can't think of anything worse that street drinking in Tottenham! But they only usually stop you by the Pride Of Tottenham on big match days and then the offie just before the B&H on normal match days.

Street drinking in Saudi Arabia? ;-)
Add in The Milford, The Park, The Cockerel, The Bull (quite a few years ago now) and Latino's too.
And the Whitehall Tavern (although, like the Milford, it was very definitely low-life). Didn't the Bull get called something else? (That was the one down towards Seven Sisters whose name escaped me, I think.) The Three Compasses on Queen Street has also gone. All a bit sad.
The White Swan that turned into an African bar then restaurant and is now empty? Is that the one you are talking about? We used to stop there for the first pub of a crawl and the barmaids were so off their face they could barely serve us.And the Whitehall Tavern (although, like the Milford, it was very definitely low-life). You can lease it for £27k per year, once you stump up £15k for 'ingoing costs'.

Right, I'm going to win the lottery this week and step in. They'll be no cocking cars trying to park through 2,000 yids on my watch!
The Swan down at the High Cross? Back in the 70s the 'Home of Philly, Reggae, Funk and Soul' (and probably a few other things besides). It's Tottenham's oldest pub, with records going back to about 1450. It got sleazier and sleazier, then there was a shooting, after which it was shut down; it then turned into a restaurant that looked about as inviting as a Victorian dental surgery, and shut down again. No, the Bull was further towards Seven Sisters, on the other side of the High Road. I had it in my mind that it had changed its name, but maybe I'm imagining things.
Anyway, it's now down to the Elmhurst by Bruce Castle (home of Topless Darts in the late 70s!), the Beehive, the Ship and the Elbow Room, the Pride of Tottenham, the Two Brewers, the Victoria, the Antwerp, the Bricklayers, the Coach and Horses, the Gilpin Bell and maybe the Phoenix (or whatever it's called now if it's still open).
Alabar too by the Bricklayers.
What's that place by the one way system, always looked a bit dodge?
I've heard that The Two Brewers (Scotland Green just along the High Road and only about a ten minute walk away from the ground) is a very friendly pub with a decent pint and that quite a lot of supporters drink there. Might be worth a try lads and lasses if you've not been there before. It has a closed FB page too.
The landlord is a lovely fella. Some of the clientele maybe not so much!
