The head of the FA is David Bernstein right? Isn't he a huge Spurs fan?.
Yes and No. He is a lifelong City fan and was chairman there from 1998 to 2003.

Levy needs to talk to HR asap and make a joint statement.
There's no conspiracy within the media. Redknapp is the only obvious choice and several England players have already come out saying he should get it.
I don't see why a caretaker manager can't take the job until the summer then HR takes over for the summer only.
I totally agree with this: http://www.football365.com/faves/7498587/F365-Says
Good read
me to:clap:Glenn Hoddle.
He's just been on Talksport and i still believe that he deserves another shot and, given a little room to operate without the redtops taking the piss at every opportunity, i think he could really bring something exciting back to our national team.
Bring back Glenn!
If Harry leaves mid season, Glenn as caretaker. With this squad I'd have faith he'd do well, he the 98 England team playing very well I think the problem with us was he had a lot of injuries and unreliable players ie. Ferdinand and Anderton.
This thread would be embarrassing if it wasn't so funny
What a bunch of fishwives some of you are, squawking and tearing your hair out over, relatively speaking, fuck all.
Nothing's changed!!! Nothing
Everyone knew Capello was leaving after the Euros, everyone knew Redknapp would be offered the job. People would have been speculating.
Ok this might be a minor distraction, but it's really is fucking minor.
Harry will not take the job until the end of the season and then he will.
The FA will have Pearce and Brooking take whatever friendlies we have between now and then (maybe they'll privately consult with Redknapp), the FA will announce they've deferred any decision on the next manager until the end of the season or Redknapp will openly declare that he'll take it in agreement with Levy et al.
Whichever it is won't effect us one jot. The players will be just as determined, Harry will be just as determined. If anything they'll be more determined, because these last few games will be about Harry's legacy to us and the players will want to send Harry off on a high, quite apart from their natural desire to win, which will of course be undiminished a single iota by this.
It should also be noted that the Jan transfer Window should have given everyone a big clue about what was going to happen, so far the club and Harry have been managing the unspoken truth of what was going to happen at the end of the season quite well, but it would have been difficult to go on like that indefinitely with Levy's need to begin the recruitment process for Harry's replacement before the summer. Now he can do it much more overtly (if still not in the public eye), and candidates will know there genuinely is a job there for them to commit to.
Win/win.
Now calm down dears, deep breaths and carry on!
Ben Pearce @BenPearceSpurs #thfc Redknapp: "They've been fantastic to me, the Tottenham people. The fans last week at the Wigan game, the reception was incredible."
1m Ben Pearce @BenPearceSpurs
#thfc Redknapp: "I've got a job to do, I've got a big game on Saturday with Tottenham. Tottenham is my focus..."
1m Ben Pearce @BenPearceSpurs
#thfc Harry Redknapp: "I don't know anything about the England job. I've not even thought about it..."

Rubbish. Before Capello's petulant strop Harry was never in line to manage England at the Euros. Him being needed to manage the team through a major competition changes everything quite alot.
