Weird team I know, as they must be the best away side in the league and probably one of the worst at home.

Btw, Felix Magath will be leaving Wolfsburg at the end of the season and go on to manage Schalke 04.

That was a quite gobsmackingly awesome performance from the big guy.

Three games to go and all of the top five are still in with a shout of the title, although I think Hamburg may have slipped out of contention today. Martin Jol must be absolutely sick of the sight of Werder.

Double Pivot meant to ask you how is Renato getting on? Caught a lot of him in the early part of season. Where's he been played?

Renato is the shit, dude. I can't yet tell if he could make it in the EPL (I know the Scousers have shown interest). He seems to require more space than he would get here. That being said, he has adjusted quite brilliantly from Brasil to Germany. Has a fantastic eye for pass and on his day will help Rolfes do some hard grafting in the middle. I love him...want him to stay another year or two...but after he gets situated in Europe is bound for a richer club than Aspirin 04.

But my favorite player (other than my well established broner for Adler...who has been shit this year) is actually Kiesseling. Most underated player in the Bundesliga.

Is he being played centrally or ok the right wing? He looked a very promising player.

Was just wondering what peoples thoughts were ok Dzeko? I've seen him several times this season and really can't make my mind up on him. Think a lot of people are getting dragged in by the hype without watching him.
I watched Ibisevic a few times before his injury as people we saying he was similar to Berbatov, wasn't sure I saw comparison to be honest.
Dzeko looks technoically good, but not sure he's ready for a move jus yet.

I can't say I've noticed too much similarity between Ibisevic and Berbatov either.

In contrast to all the talk of Dzeko, no-one's mentioned Grafite, whose scoring record is even better. I don't know about Dzeko either. He ticks all the boxes and there's absolutely no reason he shouldn't do very well in the EPL, but since I thought Alves might I'm staying studiously non-committal.

On non-player matters, has Magath's defection to Schalke buggered Wolfsburg's title challenge?

As I've mentioned I don't watch tons of Bundesliga but whenever I do, Kiessling is playing and he's always playing well. His workrate, application, knowledge, awareness, intelligence, touch and link-up play is superb.

I always assumed he was a kiddy-fiddler or something, as he never seems to get raved about the way many lesser players do.

Goalfests for the Wolves, Dortmund and Bayer. Hoffenheim wake up from a horrible dream and hold Bayern. Schalke bore Hertha out of contention. Stuttgart keep up the pressure. Hamburg lose at home to Köln. Even more embarrassingly, Werder lose at home to Karlsruhe.

So, finally, a three-horse race.

Next weekend, Wolfsburg v. Werder, Bayern v. Stuttgart. Wolfsburg only need a draw unless Bayern or Stuttgart win about 17-0.

and if Stuttgart and Hertha win, Bayern are out of CL spots.

Btw, that striker partnership of Grafite-Dzeko...Fucking lethal.

 Sorry, only just seen this.

Assume it's Alec Junior here. :hello:

Might be time to think about your life when you spend your youth pretending to be your Dad on a Spurs fan forum rather than going out learning to improve your sex life with nubile 16-year-old lasses and getting drunk on a couple of bottles of Dry Blackthorn.

Still, your post made me laugh, so, if pissing your life away like we're all doing interests you, why not sign up yourself?

Today's title defining matches:

Wolfsburg - Werder Bremen
Bayern Munich - Stuttgart

The league's leader of assist, Misimovic has scored for Wolfsburg. Any results that doesn't end in defeat will hand the title to Wolfsburg, if they lose, Bayern Munich and Stuttgart have the chance to win the title

2-0 Grafite!

Classy finish by Grafite but shocking defending by Bremen, like always.

Make that 3-0 with a Prodl OG

Joey, question for you. I was talking to the COO of GolTV here in the states about Bundesliga coverage for the US. He told me that they showed most games tape-delayed, which irks most east coasters, so that people in LA, SF, SD, Portland, Vancouver and Seattle don't have to get up at 6:30. Being that you spend time in Seattle, do you feel the delay helps you? Or do you get GolTV in Seattle.

And will you be there the weekend of August 8th for a beer?

I don't think I have GolTV. I've got Comcast and I don't think it's one of the channels I have. I don't watch Bundesliga on US TV (or Uk for that matter) I watch them on AsiaPlate or or the streams listed on HSV fan community. Te onlt channel I watch football on in the US is FSC and the CL on ESPN.

Alex Meier just pulled one back for Eintracht:evil:.
