I was a proponent of VAR. Then this summer happened. Between the CL final, the WWC and this tournament, this thing is a joke. Decisions take forever. Things that should be reviewed, arent. And it is really making a mockery of things. There is no way this will be successful in the Prem. It could turn ugly, fast.

lodeiro (uruguay vs ecuador) apparently playing in seattle. getting old n that but looked decent n his goal was a bit gazza versus scotland, tasty. cheeky bid?

Japan? So strange

Mexico is usually one of the invited teams, but the CONCACAF tournament is going on as well. Last time they played in both and sent their B team to the event. It wasn't well received.

Okay then... I've posted in a couple of threads that FreeSports found on Sky channel 422 are showing full match highlights of the Copa America.

For those interested I'll be posting matches and times, with some being
at a more reasonable time than the live event in the early hours here in the UK.

All these highlights can be found, and only relate to FreeSports, Sky channel 402

Today 12 p.m

Venezuela giving a good game in the first half although brazil edging it, as expected.

I really like Rondon, such a useful player. He’s technically underrated

Would be a very good backup striker for us but I highly doubt he wants to be a bench player

VAR once again...it's becoming a joke...so long in reaching a decision...ruins the game whatever the outcome.

Osorio, Rincon and Rondon all three absolute brilliant today
If Venezuela win against Bolivia they’re through

As for Brazil very poor again, they move the ball way too slowly, in attack they have no plan. Gabriel Jesus has to start for them
Filipe Luis and Dani Alves doesn’t support Neres or Richarlison nearly enough
Peru next game will absolutely not be easy

Venezuela has “conceded” 5 goals in the 2 games but all have been overturned by VAR, that’s crazy
