God I remember the days when the Windies had a bowling line up to be fearful of.
From Roberts, Holding, Garner, Marshall, Croft, Ambrose et al. They were scary.
This West Indies line up is pedestrian. So Sad.

It’s really sad to see such a dearth of fast bowling coming out of the Windies, you’d have thought the likes of who you mentioned above would have been an inspiration for generations to come.
From what I’ve read though football and basketball seem to be above cricket in the pecking order and have been for quite a few years now.

Quite a lot of commentators saying that we have changed test cricket here etc. might just be me but this seems like a flat wicket. The ball has beaten the bat twice since the start of play. I feel this is going to be another one of those games where you shouldn’t judge a wicket until both teams have batted

Pope is a raging LBW candidate here, hopefully he'll settle down after a few overs. The ball is just starting to play tiny little tricks, maybe that'll get worse but it could also just be a temporary thing. We need to score around 450-500 here but it's great to see test match cricket again, especially in Pakistan.

Just turned on the cricket. Amazing score. Its like a one day innings. Assume the wicket is good and the bowling is poor.

Even taking into account a good wicket and below par bowling, this scoring rate is astonishing.
