good comeback from Topley.
Considering his first two fingers on his bowling hand are strapped up, definatley! Klaasen has just got going, dead on his feet though, they all are! Fair play to them for the effort they're all giving though.

This is embarrassingly bad from England. Utterly clueless from Buttler and the bowlers. Shocking stuff and heads will certainly roll for it.

Wouldn’t be shocked if there were mass retirements from this England side. Buttler may retire to avoid a sacking, Stokes will almost certainly go back into white ball retirement. Rashid, Bairstow, Malan, Root, Rashid, Moeen, Willey and Woakes could all well go as well.

none of our bowlers can bowl 10 overs because all they play is shits and giggles cricket in the county set up.
There are a few people for whom posting ridiculous match thread style bollocks is an unbreakable habit. Fight it. Don't become one of them :D

It's fucking hot out in the middle and has probably sapped too much energy out of them, the advantage given the heat would have been to have batted first, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. So I think winning the toss and choosing to bowl, in this instance, has hurt us. The game is littered with toss 'should haves' so there's no mileage in complaining about that, I think one or two of the captains/former players out there commentating would also have bowled first.

Having said that, what we're watching is entirely consistent with what's gone before so it's tough to know any of that for sure. However, It's as obvious as the cock on a grand national runner that this is the end of a cycle, I've been saying as much for pretty much the entire tournament. We probably have to grin and bear it now.

The other thing that's grand national runner cockworthy that ought to be noted is that South Africa are in the process of becoming a fucking good side now. Clearly, we're about to go through a period of rebuilding and that's fair enough, providing they don't prolong it.

And again, having said ALL of that, we could chase this down. It'd be fucking funny if we did.

But I don't think we will. This smells a bit 200-250 all out-ish to me. But we live in hope :woot:
