Yeah I agree, his record was something like 1 in 3, which for a player who had terrible luck with injuries was OK.

Or was it because he replaced Klinsmann, or maybe because of the rumoured argument with our beloved Teddy at a petrol station?!

Who is this 'chappy' called Sol? I read a horror story about a monster called Sol who used to terrorise young Yid's with his lack of dependability! armstrong took 11 games to score for us but then was on fire. he scored 24 i think that season with teddy on 22. the season b4 klinsmann got 29 with teddy 24 so no they didnt score more goals but not bad going for someone having to replace jurgen klinsmann!!

In the latter part of his career yeh he faded away but not really his fault. plus he scored the winner against l'scum!
