The problem is not so long ago we were saying 'see you in August' to a supposedly happy and contented Harry Kane after another very good season. What mind set striker are we going to be saying 'welcome back' to if this deal collapses ?? It's impossible to expect everyone will just pretend it never happened, there has to be a negative fallout to all of this.

That's a completely different conversation altogether, though?

I think we are near done with any big business. Winks, Sanchez, Aurier all likely to stay along with Kane. Expect a few outgoings on loan with a wing forward coming in to add cover across the front.
That’s the spirit, although the clue is in the user name. Homeless?

Not sure about that from what I can gather we are all still hearing exactly the same as we were weeks ago. I don't think its that the information that is less positive, more your willingness to accept it has lessened as it's not been done quickly enough for your liking.

4 more in 5 if Kane goes.

That’s good to hear as it did change to 3 maybe 4 in a couple of posts.

Trix in the Kane thread… this seems to be moving now…

Edit: After some more research on the matter, the only conclusion that can be reached is: I’m an idiot…

Move on nothing to see here

What’s he said can’t find it

Someone quoted a City ITK on Blue Moon saying Kane will be a City player come rain or shine and expects movement in 24 hours, @Trix replied that it was a 5 star post, so everyone has taken that as confirmation that things are moving

(FWIW I'm not certain that's what Trix meant, but you know what people are like...)

With the utmost respect, it may be helpful to state emphatically if this as an opinion, as opposed to implying the latter part as fact. As that may lead some to believe you know something others don't. (Suggested with sincerity and kindness).

You say it's not close but it's litterally a phone call away. They agree to pay the money, it's done. This won't be dragged out once the valuation is met.

My opinion is they will bite the bullet and this is done by the weekend.

I wonder what our valuation actually is - so many figures flying around in the media that are 'well below our valuation'.

All well and good if it is done by the weekend, but that would mean we have a striker ready to come in before the weekend as well, and the latest news on that part looks bleak though :( well at least for the top strikers we have been linked with that is

I am sure we have a fairly good idea on who we’d want to replace him and the cost. I genuinely can’t see us selling him and then sitting down and wondering what to do next.

This could be a win win situation. Not only is he a good player but hes good mates with Ndombele ,and could hel get his head into gear.
I'm not sure you've got the right message if that refers to the post I saw.

We still haven’t replaced Vinnie or Bale from last season yet or is that going to be Scarlett and Sess? Definitely saving on some big wages there at least.
