What just wandering around covent garden?

No that's me, normally staggering out a certain members club.

Anyhow, he is in London. He is signing for us.

Even though we're ok in the DM department with Sandro and Palacios (at the moment), i think some people are under-estimating just how big a signing Diarra would be. He's playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world and he's a big favourite amongst the RM fans. Because it's been deemed as a foregone conclusion for the last few days that he will sign, it may have lost its awesomeness somewhere along the line, whereas if we had announced this signing out of the blue, we'd all be 'wahoooo' and 'blimey' and maybe even a Mo Sizlak style 'waaaaaa'.

So, to sum up, Diarra could well be one of the 'persuade Modric to stay' signings. Or he may not be. But he could be.

it cant be reason we are waiting to sell someome, there must be some economic benefit for us to not get it over line cos we badly need cm players at moment. plus im sure he has not played any pre season games yet

Diarra will strengthen us, espacially as he has played RB aswell, bit of an allround player. He's got some great ball control aswell and his passing is good. He's not just a DM, he can keep things ticking too.

Could be, but one of POTLs updates seems to suggest that we were after Rossi + Blue and Yellow. Three players. Who knows??

I think there is some truth in this, Bomber, but...

I very much doubt B & Y is anything to do with Diarra personally. Think it's always been about strikers and exciting names.

I would welcome the signing of Diarra but I don't think B & Y is referring to him

Also I notice all Falcao talk has gone very quiet recently, even to Chelsea. Is he just staying at Porto? He could be part of blue and yellow but obv not the loan

arsenal must be close to selling fabregas and with jeffron joining lisbon tonight gives barca more money to get him. Obviously wenger will plsash out on couple of players to maybe appease fans
