You wouldn't have been the first person to said this since the end of the season. In fact someone has said this every day since this transfer rumours section of the forum was opened. I suppose someone will eventually get it right.

I can see:

No signings (on the OS)
a small amount of credible ITK (half of which will be immediately dismissed by POTL)
a large amount of rumours (which can't be classed as ITK, you know, Leandro at Heathrow type stuff)
Around 30 - 40 pages of ITK thread packed full of gossip, entertainment, jokes and speculation, with some totally irrelevant and unsuitable ads (except to some people - Granny dating - you know who you are). Yep, SC ITK has turned into Heat Magazine!

Woodgate's new contract announced.

A pay as you play contract wouldn't be a bad move as he is still a great defender when fit but does he merit a squad place if he cannot guarantee anymore than a couple of games a year, debatable.

Very unlikely we'll see a signing today. Maybe just a bit of progression on some of the players we're trying to shift. I don't think we need to sell all of the players we want to before we buy but I can't see Levy splurging too much cash until at least some of the deadwood is off our books.

Unfortunately nothing seems particularly advanced at the moment. The Defoe and Pav rumours appeared to be just that, it was very quiet on Palacios yesterday and other than that there doesn't appear to have been alot of interest. At the same time even the more likely signings (Leandro and Parker) seem to have gone quiet.

I said early in this window that we wouldn't sign anyone until July. I still think we're looking at a couple of weeks until any really big news.
