Surely he's young enough to be coached into the role though? Apparently Palace and Southampton are interested in him. Palace might be a good loan move for him.
Roy's Palace will never play wing-backs so he'd have to adapt to RB, which would be good in the long run if he gets game time. Don't know about Saints.

Thank god for our world-renowned medical team then.
Fair enough lol. However, haven't we generally been spared from a lot of injury issues for a few years now? Might remember incorrectly but I feel like we've been one of the teams with the least injuries for a few years now when I've looked at injury tables. Don't think we're hit any worse than any other team tbf.

Guessing it's more where he goes to than actually not wanting to leave Tottenham.

Undoubtedly needs regular football again and beggars can't be choosers - if it's a top end Championship side like Southampton then so be it.
Sure, but no one can force him to leave unless we pay his contract out. From the outside Southampton would be great for him, but he's living the high life in London at a top club. If you were in his shoes, would you give it up after a turbulent year under 4 different coaches?

I never really rated him and hope he goes, but I can understand why he's reluctant to leave.

sorry if posted somewhere
BEN: spence making it akward to leave
Not surprising really.
Had a bad rep at Boro, he did ok at forest but Boro absolutely rolled us over for the fee they got.
People who watched him week in week out would have paid us to take him

These were proposed loan deals, no?

Agreed, it would be different going permanently to Southampton but a loan move can help kickstart his career again.

I was under the impression they were permanent, but if they are loan moves I don't see why he wouldn't want to move unless he thinks it's beneath him. A bit like Ndombele to Turkey perhaps (He sure is giving similar vibes).

Forest fans loved him but he needed a manager that would coddle him like Cooper did and he was never going to get that under Conte, especially as he was a "club signing".

Things starting to move perhaps:

Lloris - Lazio
Sanchez - Monaco
Hjobjerg - Atletico
Spence - Palace
Tanganga - Inter

Nothing on Reguilon
Dier and N'Dombele happy to sit around and take the money.
Reguilon linked to Real Socidad now as well

I would be so much more reassured if we just had our list of targets whom we have really scouted, who are first choice to fit the system, and who have been properly vetted, including in terms of mentality, application and their desire to join us. Whenever I see a transfer or a swap described as opportunistic my heart sinks.

we do, but they’re the expensive options - ala tapsoba.

Money graciously given to them by Levy. You would do the same.

I don't think the Porro/Felix situation, if there is one, is being considered enough. I don't know what the situation actually is/was and what's just gossip. This is strictly opinion, but Ange seems like a manager whose success relies quite a bit on players buying in and being willing to run through walls for him. Bringing in a player that a player currently on the team has an issue with would not help that. I'm also of the opinion that Ange is significantly smarter than I am and if Felix does somehow join he would've sounded it out with both Porro and Felix first.

Why sign Fati though?

Son, Perisic, Solomon & Gil if he stays means we’re stacked at left wing.

We need someone for RW, don’t we?
1000000% this my heart sinks when I see us linked with yet another left winger 🤣 2 of those players haven’t even played/ given a fair chance to.
