At least Vlahovich runs. That is the only problem Ndombele has, he just does not care and can't be arsed to run, Vlahovich is a workhorse

Why didn't our recruitment/data analysis teams pick this up? You can't expect Levy to have known that. He'll have the same concerns about paying 200k a week to another player he's never heard of. I hope it's changed with Ange but you know...

He's quality imo and remember he's only 23.
55 goals in 100 apps in the last 4 seasons in Serie A and 13 in 21 for Serbia. They are great numbers for a player in his prime let alone for someone his age.
Yep he's top drawer.

As Ange said "replace greatness with greatness"

Vlahovic and Orban would do nicely for me. I know they are both strikers but surely we could move Porro to right wing if needs be and then just buy a quality CB.
Cheers for the info WLB and Trix let's hope that we are able to do the right thing for a change.

And if we were to compare Vlahovic to Oshimen it is really only this season Oshimen has had 20+ goals, in other seasons before this breakout season he had 12-14 goals. Whereas Vlahovic had 20,21 and 14. We as Spurs fans have an inflated view of strikers with Kane having 20+ 9 seasons in a row

Vlahovic, our new Leandro Damiao ? (Hopefully not) :)

Name reveal

Initially, Vlahovic and Chiesa were the coveted players in the team's strategy after Kane's departure, prior to Paratici's ban. Despite the setback, his ongoing involvement means that both players are still viable options within the team's budget. It's worth noting that Juventus has currently rejected any approach, but the right amount of money could potentially change their stance. Considering the situation, my feeling is that if we pursue more aggressively, only one of these players will likely be secured.

Ange likes the players and thinks they would suit his system

WLB

would be phenomenal signings, if we managed to pull it off, hiepfully we’d get the fiore vlahovic and not the juve one.
chiesa would be a wet dream type signing.

would love it, but can’t see it. Thanks for info pal 👍🏼

Focus is now on creating space for new signings. The club aims to bring in at least 3 new players and potentially see as many as 7 departures. The primary objective is to clear out underperforming players, allowing for better-quality additions to come in to support Ange until the next transfer window.

Wow, 7 departures - hiepfully that would bring in some more dollar too.

Vlahovic certainly feels like the most obvious available target out there. High profile too but still young and hungry.

If we can get him in within the wage structure then that would be great, assuming Ange thinks he could fit the system which he seems to.

Did wonder if the price for Orban kept going up would it bring Vlahovic back into the equation.

I really don't think Levy can do much to redeem himself for some really poor leadership (on the football side) but signing both Chiesa and Vlahovic would be a good place to start. (y)

While i love the sound of Vlahovic.

The 7 players out is what really sounds fantastic. We have needed to trim the woodpile for a while now.

Vlahovic makes more sense to me than Chiesa - more so because of the move to make Son captain and I can’t see his role shifted from being our primary LWF.

Hesitant to splurge massive amounts on a striker though and would feel it more beneficial to bring in Orban and then big money on a CB and out on the right flank because I’m not sure Deki is best suited to an Ange system.

I just don’t know how we would keep two big money strikers happy (Dusan and Richy) whilst also giving Orban enough time to develop. I know Richy can play LW on paper but if today told us anything it’s that we need players who can dribble and have good technical ability out wide and that’s not Richy. At all. Plus we are probably talking about over £100 mil. I’m not convinced that’s necessarily the best use of funds when we really really do need another wide player who can dribble and score/create and those never come cheap.

Was there not a user on here that had a direct line into Vlahovic’s dad? Tell him we are preparing the avis
