I hope you're right but AVB may think Parker is good enough to keep us in the top 4 and next season we'd have Sandro back. In the meantime we'd have Mouts.

I hope I'm right too. That would be insanity. Way to drive Sandro out of the club. Send him on loan and he'd never play for us again.

Porto need cash right now so probably won't be too agreeable to installments. If they need cash and sell one or two of their best players they won't be able to spend that cash on buying like for like replacements. Maybe the not a straight deal means we're prepared to loan them a player or two. If Parker has a big part to play might Sandro to Porto for half a season loan be feasible?

They only spent £10m in the summer and raked in £70m on transfers. But I don't know the general state of their finances.

The only one I can se it being as far as 'not seeing eye to eye' is Dawson as he is the only one who could command a half decent fee and who AVB has tried to shift already. I know that recently he has come out and said that he isn't allowed to go but it was only a couple of weeks previous to that that he made some comment that didn't rule out the possibility of him going to QPR. I can't remember exactly what was said but he left the door open IIRC.

I don't think its Ade because it was mentioned somewhere that he was the only signing that came in with AVB giving the thumbs up to, the rest were DL's signings. Well, thats what I read somewhere here anyway.

Also he has been injured/ill/catching up fitness wise so its not as if AVB has not been picking him is it?

I reckon the one of our best is a bit of a red herring, different people have different ideas about who our best are so who's to say who that coment is directed at?

That said, I hope it 'aint Dawson.

I wouldn't be surprised if we sold Parker and Dawson for big money to QPR in January, they'll be desperate and Harry will want players he can trust.

I think this is the most likely.

We can debate the relative merits of Sandro and Parker all day but there's only one of them that will get shifted on: the one who's over 30, can't pass more than 5 yards and still has a surprisingly high resale value.

Look I'm just getting my knickers in a twist coz Sandro is one of my favourite players. If Porto are sniffing around our players in a not a straight cash deal he'd be attractive to them, and we all know how much AVB wan't Mouts.

I was browsing on twitter the other day and saw a series of tweets from someone who was saying very excitedly that his dad had been chatting to one of our physios: Apparently, Ade is being a proper pain and they want shot of him either in January or the summer.

I'd have been more sceptical but the guy mentioned in advance they'd been told that the boys were heading out for a christmas party that night (AVB footed the bill for that meal too) which wasn't common knowledge to any of us really.

Still might be bollocks though, obviously.

I didn't think it was possible for players (Adebayor) to be sold twice in one season ?
