Probably because French isn't a language he speaks... It's a common mistake
Maybe, or maybe he does speak it and he knows what he's doing. I would think the masculine form would be used more in error because it's shorter and phonetically more similar or maybe I'm over-thinking that bit of it.

Anything is possible in this thread to be fair! I can't see the significance if he was though as we aren't going to sign any females!

'Tres bon' = 'very good' when I was taught some basic French back in 1967.

Tres bone is some sort of trombone triumvirate. Clearly the club is signing a new trombone player to hype up the crowd at the new stadium.

Don't see why Lloris signing a new deal would require a cryptic. We've had ITK just plainly saying he has/he will sign.

So Griezmann is having a press conference later today. Tres bon! Welcome to Spurs! :ROFLMAO:

Edit: I was clearly ironic but yeah let the optimistic ratings rain

Probably because there is not much to go on and Trix said it was a little cryptic so likely not a new signing or huge news. Maaaaaaaybe you could warp it and say 'tres' is three in Portuguese 'contract three' could be the three who resigned from Sporting CP but then why 'bonne' in french? Same issue for any tres = 3 = Jan or a triple contract signing of those yet unnanounced but itked as done.
