Kind of makes you wonder who's decision it was to sign Fazio?

Not too fussed to see him go, as it will free up room for Dier/Wimmer's progression

Fazio and Stambouli were signed because Dawson and Sandro were ruined (by age and injury respectively). We brought them in at no net cost, and now we have upgraded to Alder and TBC, we can move them on.

If we are letting Fazio go, it would point to us, in my opinion, having a midfielder to bring in rather than having Dier as first choice in DM.

I think you might be right Tibsy. Hope so. :)

Fazio is a handy player to play certain tactical games. All the best to him if he is going. Bet he is one of those player that wants to play rather than collecting $$ and sitting on the bench. Maybe this movement will be best for the squad long term. I hope now Milos Veljkovic will be promoted at CB as 3rd Choice RCB and hope to see him play some games.

Grateful for the information but just not bothered, I'd rather hear about someone we are buying/bought, rather than this continuous cumfest over our players leaving every other day.

Haha you cannot say we have upgraded to 'TBC'.. even the most ardent BSoDL wouldn't try that one..

I wonder if we'll turn a small profit on Fazio as we do most of our trading players.. He's not as abject as some make out but no place for him now. Seems like Spurs was a pointless move for him and us really..

Can't help but feel our recent revolving door policy with new transfers wont have a positive effect on any potential new clients. Maybe it doesn't really work like that, but if I was a player I would maybe think twice about coming to us. Saying that, I guess Benji did end up at PSG, although considering the lack of game time he got last season he must be feeling like he waisted a year.

I'm not sure we'll get more than £8m for him. Though to be fair he is more than twice the player £4m Kaboul is

Happy to see Fazio go, never seemed like a first team signing & with Wimmer & Dier as back up to Toby & Verts I think we are sorted at CB. Hopefully we recoup the money we paid for him.

...phew was just starting to go through ITK cold turkey. Whilst the hit from the goat isn't Grade A gear, it's certainly taken the edge off.

A shame about Fazio. For a fella of his height, I always thought he should be more useful in the air at set pieces. I think he's a decent defender and he never really had a consistent run in the team that would have helped iron out some of the errors he made.

Sorry mate - not following?
Don't worry mate, something you said the other day. I'm genuinely hoping, like you said, that Fazio going means we have a genuine CDM option lined up..
Unless Poch is just trimming down to a smaller squad.. Could be.

Your like the Adrian Durham of this site, swear you just say stuff to get a reaction.
No, I'm just honest. I'm very quick to praise a player/the team when they deserve it. Right now I don't think any players/the team warrant that at all. Call me harsh but "being nice" doesn't get you points in the BPL.

I know what all of those words mean, but not in that order. What in the blue blazes you "being nice/realisitc/honest" has anything to do with the football team getting points is beyond the realms of my considerable understanding.

Just stating that a player we are looking to sell is not good enough?

But hammering them all or being constantly negative on a forum about anything and everything Spurs related does? (n)
