Fazio being involved in the Berahino deal would complicate it?
I would guess it's more likely that a bigger team has expressed interest (or the agent/player/club suspect they will) and the player is waiting out his options now. I'm sure it would only take an enquiry from a City or United to make Berahino (or any other target) to rethink a move to us.

Grey Fox's ITK makes perfect sense to me. WBA want to maximize the price for Berahino, but having rolled out the dough on other strikers, you'd have to think they're pretty committed to moving Berahino on. Not that I'm a fan of last minute deals, but Levy is right to sit around until they come down from 25, which you'd think they will once they realize that we're not going to overpay.

Which he has never won when it comes to incoming players....He only wins with outgoing players. When will he learn the same logic applies to when he's buying players....They won't move unless they get the price they want. They will not go cheap, especially if it's a player that's any good.

Lloris?

Fuckoff I was gonna make a killing :dead:

But to be fair that does tie in with a number of ITK snippets we've had.

One of the snippets was about the CM being agreed barring the players agent whoring him out to other clubs to gauge interest. I guess this is what GF is alluding to. I guess Berahino could be in the same boat as Ghostofarmo said 100% that could of meant the agreement between clubs was sorted but he was still waiting on City or UTD before agreeing.

Which snippets?

I thought the suggestion was that WBA were waiting for the better offer on Berahino not the player? And the Ghostfarmo 'nailed on' ITK was from the player's agency.
The exact ones? Can't be arsed to find them for you, sorry :(

ooooh, yeah I remember one now…...The goat came out with something about this last week.

United trolling us for two-fingering them over Lloris and Kane?

Whatever you say about City, they tend to behave with a degree of dignity.

Fazio out, Carroll out, N'jie in. I regard all of this as positive news.

Forget the personal opinions on whether or not you rate the individual players concerned, what is encouraging is that we seem to be identifying the players who will and won't fit in to Poch's preferred system. You can't play a high line with Fazio in the defence, Carroll doesn't have the physique to play as 1 of a CM2 and is a long way down the list to play further forward, and N'jie adds much needed pace and creativity.

We'd all like a quality DM and a back up to Kane but the way this transfer window has progressed so far leads me to believe that for once we actually have a plan :wideyed:. Even a bad plan is better than no plan at all.

Before you buy your Levy voodoo dolls , can I make it crystal clear this is not down to Levy, but the players and agents

So what I think you are saying is that our offers are acceptable, but agents are holding out for biggers fees and the players better wages? If nothing tops our offers then the players have to make the decision to stick or twist?

I'm I right or I'm I right?

Grey Fox ITK to me suggests Levy is gonna play the waiting game on Berahino and the CDM.

The question is, if this backfires and WBA stand firm at £20m+ does he pay up to not leave us short?

We haven't heard of alternatives from other ITKs yet so I guess we are confident of them buckling. Dangerous game.

that sounds the same as every summer to me.
