I got a winner rating for saying it was either Leicester or Everton lol A&C is playing with all of us. Sitting back laughing in his basement, covered in wotsit dust and scratching his 24 testicles

Can't say that this Dier scenario hadn't crossed my mind earlier this season. Dier was such an integral part of the way we played prior to Victor arriving. I was actually amazed that we even bought someone to replace him. As it happens it could be argued Poch was right. But I could still envisage Dier getting very used to that position in the team - especially as he has nailed down this position in the England team. I do think/hope he would stay if given the right assurances. Can we accommodate him fully and keep him happy? I hope so.

Figured out the cryptic
Ryan = Bryan
Romeo and Juliet =!Dier and Alli, both of which have been on loan.
We've signed Sessegnon and, like Dov reports, we're loaning him back

Rather not loan him back tbh. In fact that makes no sense for us considering how dead set Poch is against loaning out our best youngsters.

Good chance it was a requirement if we wanted to sign him. I think there were various reports that his family were concerned about him leaving Fulham so soon so this may be the compromise that got his signature.

So I don't look at the site for a few hours and now Dier is supposedly leaving? I have no idea how we got there, but if true I'd be concerned about the effect it'd have on Alli. Hopefully it'd be like Love Island and he'd just strike up a bromance with one of the other lads within a few hours.

If that's the crucial thing that gives us the advantage to sign him though it's worth it, surely? He's only 17.

Think each situation is different. Depends on how much top quality football this 17 year old would get next season I guess.

How many 17 years old play regularly in PL? Let Fulham keep him for another year and not make him our 3rd choice LB. At least he can get used to the idea he will be at Tottenham next season.
