Doherty - He has only done well in PL and move to us, should be a good step up for him. I can certainly see this transfer happening. He could play further up field like Aurier has done last season under Jose.

I don't mind exploring Doherty as an alternative, but I honestly could only see that happening if we got some sort of discount deal that would "save" Wolves from FFP - keeping the rest of their team together or something. Spending a lot on Doherty would be rather pointless in my opinion.

Less of a gamble than Aarons, Castagne or Celik and better than Aurier so would seem to fit with our current recruitment policy.

Surprised by that ITK, I'd imagine Wolves will want too much money for a player who has no future sell-on value for Levy. We're not about to spend upwards of £30m for a player who we're only going to get a few years out of. Just can't see it.
