I thought Ginter was going to Dortmund?
In fairness it says we've watched him not that we are going to sign him.
I thought Ginter was going to Dortmund?
Glad we are looking at good CB's. Ginter looks like he will turn out to be a quality player. My only concern with him is he likes to wonder out of position and join the attack a bit too much.
Don't know much about Dier, can any one fill us in? Just know he is English but doesn't have HG status.
"But could change if Ade is out longer than expected." Isn't Ade only expected to be out for a week?
So North London or Turin. That doesn't help us.everyone is forgetting that we have one of best training facility in the world. its not all about money and cl a big part is where you will work at every day.
I thought Ginter was going to Dortmund?
:sigh: we are not likely to sign anyone until we get back from the US tour, are we? thats why all the ITK have been saying it will be a while imo
Tevez...
*prays*
Siggy and Daws wont leave and are clogging up our system and now we are looking at a couple of 4th or 3rd rotation CBs, its not really that encouraging as we need to find some one who can dominate in that position.
Not very encouraging when you consider the movement in the clubs above us.
If we are going to compete with them we need to do more than this. Perhaps we are and we just don't know about it but we certainly need to raise the bar a bit.
I did not say anything was wrong with it - but since you asked: waiting makes it more difficult to assimilate new players later into the pre-season. By the sounds of it, we have talked to teams about selling Dawson and/or Sigurdsson - so presumably Pochettino has seen enough of them to know they are not his first choice for the starting XI. Playing MLS squads are not going to provide much of a test - the style they play is very different from what we will face in the league - and I wonder how much training they'll get in while traveling across the stats and in-between meet-and-greets.What's wrong with this, I'd rather Pochettino and Co. assessed all the players we have first and how they adapt to his tactics before rushing out and buying.
but if it was between staying in Turin at an average facility or coming to London(which is a great city) at a world class facility. would u like to work for a massive company but in a crappy office or move to smaller company (but still huge) and work in a brand new top of the range office. So North London or Turin. That doesn't help us.

Its more or less a :sigh: because the US tour is just bad timing, when combined with the WC, for a new manager to get down to the business of squad building.
People want 2 CBs and many mention a young option. I want 1 first teamer and let Fryers/Velkovic have a chance
