I doubt it, still need an experienced head in the middle for the big games.

Probably, but Bentaleb showed up for our bigger games so I'm not so worried if we don't strengthen. MS has gone, so I don't really know who the alternatives are - I guess you do! ;)

Personally I fear a lot of the players we are being linked to via ITK are all pace and no intelligence. We've seen this with Lennon and Townsend, it simply DOESNT make a good footballer just being quick.
I have a feeling this stereotype is put upon most black players, along with "beast"

Should be proud of the beast stereotype as it suggests they employ the necessary assets to dominate the opposition.

Similar to how black baskeball players revel in being told how high they jump or that they got "game".

Nah, we still need a DM after selling Paulinho, Capoue and probably Stambouli.

I think what Alli's impression means is that he and Mason will compete for the advanced DP role, whilst we'll buy a more defensive option to compete/cover for Bentaleb in the deeper DP. I.e. we will be looking more for a DM than a B2B

Dunno dude, I may be wrong but I think white lads are just as likely to be labelled "beasts": Wayne Rooney, Thomas Muller or our own Gareth Bale, for instance?

Probably not for this thread though dude. ;)

Alli isn't a deep-lying playmaker, he'd be wasted there and it wouldn't play to his strengths (mobility and movement) at all. I did find it weird last year that Mason and Bentaleb had the roles they did though, as they each seem suited to the other's role.

Was there ITK on Mario Suarez? I can't remember if it was media or Di Marzio...

Read this quote from Dier on Alli -

"Dele Alli and Nabil Bentaleb have been really impressive in the endurance running. Everyone knew about Nabil but Dele seems to be getting close to him so it's been interesting! He's put up a good test!"

Interesting that - not only he is impressive technically, but also physically looks perfect & mature for a 18 year old.
