I'm sure I read that Fulham are under a transfer embargo so can loan but can't sign players. If the news that they want a player from us on loan is true then I agree it might be close to happening.

Or Winks could just not be involved because of the Leicester game.

Here's an explanation

Fulham have been prevented from registering new players, whether they are coming to the football club on a loan or permanent basis, under the rules of Financial Fair Play.

However, the club is allowed to add new names to their roster if they have 24 or fewer established players, who are defined as being aged 21 or older and have at least five starting appearances for the club under their belt, on the books and certain other criteria are met.

The Whites cannot pay, or commit to pay, any transfer or compensation fees for a player. They are permitted to sign an emergency goalkeeper, but only in line with existing regulations.

For incoming players, clubs can only pay Agents’ Fees as a benefit in kind to the player in question (as long as they do not exceed the £600,000 employee costs limit).

Loans, like that of Sidwell’s rumoured one , can be agreed but no fees can be paid to the parent club. Fulham can pay a contribution of a loanee’s wage packet.

Good bit of ITK, I'd like Saido if Poch really wants him. But that Paul Smith Twitter guy, @Smudge1962 blocked me for showing that 100% or at least 98% of his followers were fake, suggesting he was too. Wouldn't take him seriously.

So plausible his info ties in with that itk earlier. disagree with the notion that there is no need for secrecy. He is a freelance journalist so if he has credible information worth selling, he wouldn't just tweet it.

Because Paul has 10k + followers, journos send him a few bits before they publish it in return for him tweeting links to their articles. They do that to boost their click rate. So yes, he only duplicates what they write but it's a fact that he is very chummy with a few journalists. He has shown me DMs from some high profile ones so he is not lying.
