ali z: Not great news but I heard today we have tried for a few and getting nowhere, Poch will only accept players he wants, so I expect nobody. Think any incoming will be due to a player poch likes becoming available or a punt on a younger player, means major work to be done in the summer, personally think we are making a mistake.

I feel this might be the end of Poch's reign. We won't be able to get better without getting the kind of players Poch is targeting. And we can't get them because despite all the improvement Poch has done, we are not the pull of City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool or even Arsenal. What more can Poch actually do. We can't win the league or CL with this squad and can't seem to improve the squad to be able to win them

Unless Poch is only interested in players being targeted by Europe's elite, then it does all come down to the money, whether rainy or snowy or sunny... if you're willing to pay up you'll get people over the line

I think you are being a bit doom and gloom there. He's fully aware of our finances with the new stadium. I'm not worried Poch will do the off over lack of big transfer fees.
