Was ade even here for that? I thought it was lennon.
I think Lennon had a bust-up with Poch about getting called out for not tracking back.

But sheesh, we have a ton of dramatics on this team. The sooner they all leave the better.

Glad to see him go tbh - if we can get rid of Kaboul, Lennon and most importantly Ade we will have got rid of players with no future at the club but most importantly those guys with terrible attitudes which in their leaving should give a lift to those at the club.

If Levy managed to get 4m for a guy with a severe injury record and in the last year of his contract then he is a fucking genius

An experienced Premier league player approaching what should be his best years > Than a 20 year old French kid with potential and no prem experience in my book.

The failures of so many of the so called magnificent 7 should tell us that.

McCarthy over Rabiot for me. We need tried and tested not an educated punt.
Our PL experienced signings have been just as bad. In fact who was the last PL player that made a difference to the team in a positive way on a regular basis, Scott Parker probably and then who before that?

yep agree bit like those 'I see something you mortals dont' who keep banging the drum about how good Lamela is because he came from Roma and is Argentinian but I wouldn't worry about it you get them in every forum and they are all entitled to an opinion....... personally I dont think McCarthy is what we need next to Bentaleb or let me put that another way Bentaleb and McCarthy are a pair that gives us solidity but next to zero creativity in the middle of the park and thats not for me.
Last season, Bentaleb was almost always sat deeper and curbing attacking instincts as the more defensive focused of the 2 cm, and without a dm alongside him. Clearly had great potential, and far more creativity than he's been able to show, and I'd be really excited to see him open up a bit more and push further up the pitch knowing he had a solid / specialist dm alongside him.

This x1000

You could easily argue that our best signings in recent times have all been directly from abroad
