One? ..... Just one?
Still need at least 3 gone. Lennon, ade, chiriches. Maybe bobby as well if we can get a decent striker in.
One? ..... Just one?
That is my thinking, I could see a player like Vertonghen getting a new deal. With all these outgoings I'd expect more than one new player and a couple of contract extensions!
Agreed it's great to see the deadwood get shifted so quickly though!
From the troublesome trio per itk; Adebayor, Kaboul and Capoue. One? ..... Just one?

I think Lennon had a bust-up with Poch about getting called out for not tracking back. Was ade even here for that? I thought it was lennon.
The squad is becoming trimmed now, one or 2 more players in cm & cf would be nice.
At last, a structured approach in placeAlso versatile with a lot of players that can play in more than one position.

Our PL experienced signings have been just as bad. In fact who was the last PL player that made a difference to the team in a positive way on a regular basis, Scott Parker probably and then who before that?An experienced Premier league player approaching what should be his best years > Than a 20 year old French kid with potential and no prem experience in my book.
The failures of so many of the so called magnificent 7 should tell us that.
McCarthy over Rabiot for me. We need tried and tested not an educated punt.
Last season, Bentaleb was almost always sat deeper and curbing attacking instincts as the more defensive focused of the 2 cm, and without a dm alongside him. Clearly had great potential, and far more creativity than he's been able to show, and I'd be really excited to see him open up a bit more and push further up the pitch knowing he had a solid / specialist dm alongside him.yep agree bit like those 'I see something you mortals dont' who keep banging the drum about how good Lamela is because he came from Roma and is Argentinian but I wouldn't worry about it you get them in every forum and they are all entitled to an opinion....... personally I dont think McCarthy is what we need next to Bentaleb or let me put that another way Bentaleb and McCarthy are a pair that gives us solidity but next to zero creativity in the middle of the park and thats not for me.

Palacios?
It's a shame really. Reading this post made me realise that I like saying "Kaboul, Capoue" quickly and repeatedly. I'll miss that. From the troublesome trio per itk; Adebayor, Kaboul and Capoue.
