Here is your thread for the discussion of all of today's ITK that appears in the Read Only.

We actually had some ITK yesterday!

Keep hearing the couple expecially that is been worked upon (DM and striker) if it comes off we will be excited. No big mega money, but huge coups on talent alone. McCarthy we were never going to pay over or near 20m for him, (but interest is there)with his injury record. Loads of agents pushing and leaking to media names we have been offered but not remotely interested in, whilst others we may have an interest, but won't be used as an auction start price to get biggest offer for their player.

Regardless of what anyone is saying Rabiot's team want us to pursue. As I said before we only want a permanent deal, and if a loan option in our favour to buy at end of loan at a set price now. Expect another Belgian in the forward department is a strong possibility, and not the one from Everton (Mi'rls). Daniel is a very shrewd operator, and management in tandem with what is going on. This is what I have heard.

Remember! Keep it strictly ITK.

Wonder if this refers to the Belgian kid at Marseille - reminds me of Sturridge and could fill a wing forward and centre forward role. Only seen clips of him though.

I'm thinking the same. And I'm still confused by some of Jaspers info. He said one dm was done and we keep getting solid itk on McCarthy. Does that mean we are looking at bringing in two cm's?

I wouldn't be surprised if 2 DMFs were brought in (making 5 with Bentaleb, Mason, Alli. Dembele is AM?). This after Toby being brought in to make 5 functionable CBs for the season. Also considering both Bentaleb and Alli are free picks, as with Dier.

When he said "done" I took it to mean that the player for that position had been identified.

I'm conflicted only if we don't buy a wing forward / replacement (and I don't mean Moses!). We lack pace already and with Lennon also probably going, it only really leaves Lamela (and to a slower extent Chadli) as pacey wide options (I'm considering Pritchard as CAM). Can only assume we have something lined up to allow AT such a move

For a while I've felt benteke was still a possibility. There was talk from Greyfox (update 108) that there would be a stellar signing once the big fish go. Benteke would do the business, plus fit with the ITK about an extra Belgian, and with Villa's rumoured Townsend/Ade intetest, maybe a deal could've been done. However, Jaspers info this morning rules out a big buy.

We should get good money for Andros. Like him but progress seems to have stalled and not sure he can take us up a level. Telling that none of the big teams have ever shown an interest. Makes sense for all concerned I'd say and a very sensible time to cash in.
