Possible news for Spurs in an indirect way, Real Madrid are after Tevez in a big way... they won't be signing Adebayor unless they are certain they can't get Tevez or another. After Adebayor's quotes the other day, this could well mean Adebayor is heading to us - as long as City will sell.

When we almost got him in January, City claimed they were willing to subsidize his wages. They might do the same again, or we could just give him a fairly big pay-off

Adebayor is 180. So no, we can't afford his wages even with creative book-keeping. Osvaldo, Leandro, Gamiero are wages we can afford.

He's spoken with his chairman about leaving, pretty much the same thing but i swear someone's told me before that you can't hand in transfer requests in spain

That's a transfer that they would only do if no one else comes in during the window who can pay all the wages and aren't in direct competition. So they could end up stringing us along all summer and us holding off on other targets because of it.
