I'm with those who think it's Berahino for cash plus Andros.

Pulis has done pundit work on ITV4 for Europa games for us where he's been very complimentary about Andros, so I reckon he likes him. He's also got his two strikers in place, but needs a flexible wide man.

I think the fixing part is Townsend being the element that fixes the deal - I know people want it to be Illaramendi but it's a pipe dream.

Hell, it could even be referring directly to Illaramendi and Trix is continuing the hint that we're after him - but I still think it's a pipe dream, because even if we genuinely are after him he can do a lot better than Spurs, frankly.

I'd love to be wrong but I think he'd simply get offered better options and we'd be some way down the list.

Well as I say I'm not normally very good at them but I think that maybe because when I think Cryptic I think "The Times", where as most of the reply's thus far are bit more "Take a Break".

His alternative seems to be Liverpool, who struggle with their annual ambition of finishing above us, so not so sure we're such a bad option considering he would be given a key role with us (rather than playing in a similar position to the current L'pool captain)

Personally I think Liverpool have already pretty much sewn up that deal.
