My first question is how good is Rob's football knowledge? Might be a decent name that maybe Rob hasn't heard of because he doesn't follow Italian football... Well @Rob?:p

Keita Balde is apparently in talks to sign for inter so you can rule him out I think

Okay. Now I am convinced it's Moise Kean

He's played a total of 24 mins for Juventus, it's either the shortest YouTube highlight video or they've included every one of those minutes........*

*As a caveat, it could be youth football. I don't think it's him though

edit - Youtubed him and it's all youth football unsurprisingly. Not going to get excited on this one, if he is who JJ is alluding to

Why I think it's Kean;

- He's at Juventus (breezers ITK)
- He's Italian (JJ's ITK)
- Poch supposedly wanted Zaha and Kean is similar in a lot of traits.
- He's young enough to mould into the player Poch wants
- He has all the materials to do well in the PL (strong, fast, direct and excellent technique)
- He's direct and can play anywhere across the top 3 positions - something we need
- His contract is running out and his father has suggested he won't be signing on again
- Premier League clubs were supposedly watching the situation
- It's exactly the type of deal Levy would try take advantage of - cheaper alternative than a more established player
- Rob saying he didn't know too much about him makes me think it's a player without much senior game time
- Plus, he's bloody good!

Are Juve going to let a big talent leave though? We know Levy doesn't do buyback clauses.

They may not have a choice as he's yet to sign a contract.

I think these are the likely suspects:-

Moise Kean (most likely) - Wonderkid in every sense of the word, first player born after 2000 to score in Serie A. Would need to be cloak and dagger. Could be working on his father who had the tractor dispute with the club. Juve supposedly getting him on a new deal. Fits in with JJ and Breezer ITK. Seems like something we'd go for.

Suso - Most prominently linked, looks quality, but has been quoted as wanting to stay and has been poo pooed previously.

Berardi - Linked in the past, fits in with northern italy and would again be one that would need to be kept under the radar. Would be expensive and from his thread people are not overly impressed by his vids in terms of end product.

Schick (long shot) - Linked early on (albeit not from the biggest outlets) then seemed Juve bound. Now potentially falling through, would be a coup, I was very impressed with his Youtube compilations too. Genoa is certainly in the north of Italy as well. Unless Rob is an avid Serie A viewer, I'd imagine like myself Sampdoria is a bit of a blind spot when it comes to seeing players.

To be fair when you have the likes of Dybala and Higuain ahead of you, at 17 years old you ain't starting just yet. Juventus as desperate to keep him as they know he has the potential to be a star.

As a follow up, if it is Kean, we had mildly conflicting ITK last week, Janssen staying versus Janssen is going if we sign a CF. So, if the extra forward we sign is a young player, Janssen may be less under threat and stay after all, meaning both ITK are not in line.
Kean could well fit the ITK we've had, Nothern Italy, Juventus, Breezer surprised if we get him (as he's highly rated?). Also, since he's so young, probably is less heard of, reading into Rob's comment.

It wont be Kean, he has literally just renewed his contract. He is a local boy who will want to do things in Juventus.

If his dad asks Levy to buy him a fleet of tractors there's no chance we will get him.

Has he definitely signed it though? I haven't seen any news anywhere confirming that.

According to Italian papers he has, or is about to!
