The whole third party ownership thing makes life very difficult for regular EPL clubs to complete deals in south america doesn't it. You can see why other countries like Portugal become the testbed for these players and the whole Tevez/West Ham debacle was evidence of the problems.

Those with economic shares in these players would much rather retain them in the hope they materialise into something more than they will get from the first sale into Europe. If they turn into Hulk's and Falcao's they will triple or quadruple their investment.

People were talking about us getting Oscar for a few mil, then he actually goes for 28m. 19 of which is what Inter actually took I think.

Third party ownership and the Chelea's, Manc's, Monaco's of this world make doing a straight correct value transaction in South America fucking difficult.

Anyone know which countries in Europe do and don't don't allow third party ownership ?

There is new ITK in the RO, and I'm glad the club are taking it seriously.

I think it's Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany where it's allowed.

Re: Grey Fox's info in the RO about reporting the tapping up. Thank christ for that. Something has to be done.

Interesting to hear that we are once again complaining about tapping up. We really better be whiter than white.

Levy should release a press statement saying we're terminating the partnership. ****s.

Why do I get the feeling that DL would actually enjoy the process of tearing Perez a new one. He'd certainly deserve it. Some of the statements that have come out of his and Zidane's mouth have been nothing less than flagrant.

Hope the latest ITK is true. Allowing it to go on was starting to look like a worrying sign that we would cave in. Of course it doesn't mean we won't sell him (I think we all remember the famous Berbatov "statement") but they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. It's a fucking disgrace.

Not just Real...PSG too apparently! Wonder if they went directly to AVB's people rather than us?

yup, reckon psg are probably even worse and i've no doubt they've gone direct to avb's people. the arrogance of these people should astound me but it never does.

What punishment would entail if they were found guilty? I still can't believe some of the quotes attributed to Zidane are legit; shocking if so - blatant isnt the word.

Although I doubt the governing body will want to upset big ole Real Madrid for little ole Tottenham. Pathetic.

Thanks guys. It's nothing serious, just a migraine which is will be gone in a minute. Coincidenatlly at the exact moment Mrs A&C leaves the house for her girlie shopping trip.

I really hope the Club do something about the "tapping up" it has been outrageous.

The thing that annoys me the most is that the Spanish clubs always get away with it. They let their players speak freely to the press and then the club acts like it was nothing to do with them.

I laughed when Barcelona did it with cesc however it's now pissing me off with bale so it should be stopped! Haha
