Genuinely don't know how this will end up.

- On the one hand it does feel like the writings on the wall and this has all been a bit of a PR dance from all parties for a while now.

- On the other I do wonder if Bayern have under-estimated Levy and his desire to sell this summer.

If I had to put a bet on it I'd say the former, but as with Trix, I'm 50/50 on it.

I do think if the deal goes through it will be worth over 100m GBP, probably around 120m EUR.

yep for all his faults and there are many you wouldn't want another person overseeing this than Daniel.

The deal is close to collapsing though unless they change their stance. As of now nothing changed in terms of what's been offered they have till midnight to provide what we want.

The deal gets further away from them if they don't shut up and pay up.

They came with the same offer Monday we didn't expect this. they have had 4 days since to revise their offer which they have not. There's no resolve Daniel won't sell for any less and Harry knows this a meeting has been had internally.

Bayern is tying every tactic in the book it won't work.

it's pretty straightforward meet the asking price or don't.

To be completely honest mate Levy isn't one for meeting in the middle on any deal.

In fact if Levy was taking part in the hokey cokey everyone would have to go to him.

Don’t think 100m euros Inc add ons will get accepted and nor should it.

It’s probably somewhere in the region of £75m rising to £86m. That is frankly about £20m short of what we should be getting in a worst case scenario, and Kane for another season (or potentially longer if we start well and he commits) is worth far more than that.

Hope we tell Bayern to fuck off and make a public statement saying he’s staying and we will be focussed on preparing for the upcoming season.

Of course a deadline is a manufactured thing. IF they come back afterwards and meet the asking price I’ve no doubt heads will be turned. It all depends on how dependant we are on this cash for the CB incomings cos they’re aren’t many leaving as of yet.

Why would you accept anything less than 130 million and that’s being generous.
one of the very best players in the world, fit, scores shit loads of goals, keeps himself fit and healthy, great attitude, being sold for less than Declan Rice…

Edit: apologies thought this was the one thread - on a serious concoction of pain relief at the moment !

I don't see the figure being an accurate valuation of Kane, the player. I see it being an act of brinkmanship by Levy in that he has a figure in his mind he is willing to accept against having one more playing season from Kane and receiving zilch next year. I can't sew him letting Kane go for nothing and Bayern must be acutely aware of this which puts them in a strong position.

I hope I'm wrong and Kane does stay but that would be out of character for our chairman??

It wouldn't be 'for nothing' if his goals got us into CL. There's also a chance that Kane enjoys playing for Ange after years of 'dinosaur', defensive shite under Mourinho and Conte, and actually decides to stick around a bit longer. Stranger things have happened.

I’m about 14 million away from the house I want in Kensington too. I’ve given them until midnight to accept my offer. I’m boxing up as I type.
