Why do you care who moans? If we improve the team thats the main thing. I think Cahill would start for us. Better footballer than Dawson, though not as 'die hard'. Think Cahill and Kaboul would be similar, but an excellent trio in Cahill, Dawson and Kaboul. Gallas has 1 year max, King maybe only a game before his next long term injury and BAssong is ok back up, but wants to go. Cahill would be excellent for us.

Agree. And he's English and we currently only have 5/6 guarenteed to be here in a fortnight's time for our quota of 8.

We now have good reason to doubt that. I wouldn't have mentioned it if his info hadn't been brought up in relation to Cahill. That doesn't mean other info on Cahill should be discounted.

You should have been around when we signed Ardiles and Villa (maybe you were). We only found out when it made the papers a couple of mornings later or however long it was!

I remember that one, just seen Bob Dylan at Blackbush took forever to get back to London and the early Sunday papers were just out with Spurs sign Argie duo!

As for Greavsie and co it was more like two chairman agreeing a fee and a bung then- Jimmy we're putting you on £50 a week son, sign here.

So it was nothing to do with the fact that he was/is quite clearly making vague and rather obvious statements, and has been since last year...long before being considered itk? Something I thought was pretty obvious until it started appearing in the RO.

I can think of at least two others that to me are obviously winging it, and have recently made it into the RO. No names mentioned because someone clearly thinks they know something or someone so I'll defer to their better judgement....but it seems to me that fact and fiction are becoming increasingly blurred.

Well, two or three years ago someone made the suggestion that we put some kind of flag on suspect ITK, but back came the reaction, 'No, we can make up our own minds!' (We got the same reaction when it was suggested we only include stuff from ITKs with a proven track record.) Trusting souls that we are, if someone comes up with a reasonably convincing-sounding source, we tend to give them the benefit of the doubt—and in all honesty, if someone claims to be ITK and posts safe, middle-of-the-road, plausible information, it's very difficult to know if they're bullshit artists.

I can safely say that anyone claiming to work on the stock exchange, as a cabbie or chauffeur or in a Hatton Garden jewellers' is definitely a WUM.

I find it interesting that other teams have prioritised GFTS.(Goals From The Side)

It looks like these are the most important players for the likes of Chelsea,United,Arsenal and City to acquire.........................but apparently not us.
