Would never give abuse to anyone that pulls on our shirt but would never mean the same to me as the non-Arse in the side. Don't expect everyone to feel the same I just have a loathing of anything mildly associated with them.

So u will lie Campbell as he went from us to them like jennings? By ur own logic

Fair enough if that's how you feel. They don't play for Arsenal because they have an undeniable hatred for Spurs, they play for Arsenal to make a living.

:eek:mg:Get real!! We forced Jennings out, that Judas scum lied that he was going to stay and then left for our rivals!! How can you begin to compare them?

yeah but surely you could override those feeling if an ex Arsenal player did really well for us.

I mean surely the team benefiting as a whole is more important, instead of a a bad feeling towards an ex Arsenal player...I mean seriously - think about it.

I hate Arsenal as much as the next Spurs fan, but ultimately my love for Tottenham comes first - and I'm desperate to see us do as well as we can, and if that involves using an ex Arsenal player - so be it, particularly when he doesn't even have affectionate memories of them.

Pretty sure you could go back a year and change Adebayor to Gallas and you'd see the exact same argument... temperament, attitude, ex-Arsenal and all.

No question about whether it was a good signing now.

How about we get back to chatting about potential new signings

Please don't. That's even more depressing than hearing our fans say they wont support our own players before they've even signed.

So u only hate most players that have played for both, if u like them then it doesn't matter, if you don't you use the arsenal like to hate them? That's poor, hate them all or none at all

I'm pretty sure Adebayor is better than all of our current players.

He's played for two clubs since Arsenal.

He doesn't like Arsenal.

I don't like Arsenal.

He'd improve Tottenham.

I love Tottenham.

Sign him.

Has anything actually happened in here tonight, other than more frustration that has turned to fellow Yidos quarrelling?

I don't like the sound of Donna Cullen's statement. Do you think Levy went to Uncle Joe who told him we din't have any money to spend?

I'm not sure what else she could have said tbh. If she came out and said we have X amount to spend then clubs would have put on a lovely little "Spurs tax" when we came in for a player.

I do, you hate people who play for arsenal but only if it was after us as not if it wasn't a proper game even if it was before us:shrug:

I bow down to your superior intellect, I can't come up with anything else that can back my feelings. I admit I was wrong, not having the same feelings regarding Jennings leaving compared with Sol was totally wrong. I will never boo Sol again. Can we call it a day, it's getting rather boring.

Ah, ok, so you think it could be a ploy to drive the prices down? Interesting.

I wonder whether we'd be able to do that with the player's we're after though, as they will be in demand and we will have to pay the market rate?

If we want a marquee signing, surely the clubs these players play for will ultimately deal to the highest bidder.
