I do disagree, though am not a guinea pig (I'm not quite sure what you mean by that as an expression. I don't feel 'experimented on' by anyone, but perhaps you have something else in mind). I agree that the manager isn't a magician. You're right. And there are no quick fixes and no certainties. The best thing is to calm down and learn the art of patience. You will feel better about the club and probably about yourself too. Alternatively, find another club which will offer you the instant gratification you seem to crave (Chelsea, City). Then you will always have what you want and the pleasure will no doubt be immense, knowing that success it is all 'bought'. Then again, if you can tolerate supporting Spurs a little longer, it may help to if you think less about individual players than the organism that is the team, greater than the sum of its parts. That, I think, is where Poch will help. As a concept it's an old chestnut, but nonetheless I believe it to be true.

Do me a favour.... Don't give it the go and support Chelsea bla bla bla...

Edit: for all you guinea pigs disagreeing, we haven't signed a single player that will start when all fit. Where did we finish last year?? ( poch isn't a fucking magician)

Funny that last summer we signed 7 players for the first team and look what happened.

So we have 17 slots for players over 21 and that don't count as home grown. We currently have all 17 slots filled so if we want to buy players that don't count as home grown or aren't U21 then we have to move one or more of the 17 we already have. That in turn bring about a problem if the individual players don't want to leave or if there are no clubs interested in them.

The only logical thing to take from the above is we will have to let players go before we bring more in unless they are U21 or count as home grown.

I'm very much in the group this guy deserves the utmost respect....but by the same token I really hope we can find a compromise to move him on in a dignified manner. I know he's a true gent and served the Club with distinction but the time is now, most definitely.

Since when did Kyle Walker work in the Spurs finance department? I doubt he'd be aware of the fees involved but interesting info anyway.

Yes when you have good players. It would have been good to 'consolidate' when we had Modric and Bale. Now? It's just accepting the status quo, which is finishing 6th at best.

So judging by your thinking we should make wholesale changes yet again.

The result is most likely another transition season with new signings not performing at their best as they are taking a while to settle in, not only to the club but the new manager's philosophy. So you're likely to judge them as not being good enough and it's rinse and repeat. Back to square one.

It's quiet there.
It lacks corroboration but he got asked how he knows & he coughed up the Walker stuff & freely admitted his place in the chain.
I'd err on the side of caution, ie. leave it / delete.
From my perspective it's interesting & plausible, from a mod perspective, it's lacking.

The 2 seasons we finished 4th under Harry IIRC our dealings were pretty unspectacular crouch and bassong in one and friedel and Parker in the other ( I'm sure I've forgot a few).
We seem to be buying or trying to buy players in positions that need strengthening not just randomly collection players that we sometime do and end up with an imbalanced squad
