confirmed on Monday that Spurs have told Everton they want it done by today.

I will continue to bring you the latest ITK info

So ITK from Everton.... not Spurs.

Presumably with an increase stadium size, the wages we can pay probably will increase over the next few years - so perhaps it's not completely crazy to suggest that Barkley could be one of the higher earners initially as the club starts to look to increasing the wage cap of the club over the next few seasons.

Thought I'd pass this on even though it's a friend of a friend story.

One of my best mates has a mate at work who's sister apparently works for a company who deal with footballers and their investments. Anyway apparently Barkley was there yesterday sorting his investments and changing his details like place of work, bank details etc to Tottenham.

Passing on in good faith, could be rubbish or a case of Chinese whispers so take with a pinch of salt as always.

Good whoring. Thanks.

I'd certainly believe Levy would set a deadline and it would about now with a clear "we've got other targets all lined up and we'll permanently move on if you don't get to x price" message.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I don't mind the lack of activity per se but it would worry me if Poch gets frustrated that we aren't securing targets.

Thanks for passing on.

Lots of salt on this one for me. Do you change your bank details when you move jobs?

Let's hope the sister of the friends friend has good connections, although I think the first thing we need to do once we sign him is sit him down and tell him that he can get people to do all this stuff for him, he doesn't need to visit their offices in person for this type of thing

I have a long held view that Barkley (and Stones) are two of the most overrated English Players (since Wallcott) but it seems clear from reports he is the one Poch wants and I think it is important for this reason alone we secure him. I am sure Poch can improve him and hopefully get a level of consistency from him, but keeping Poch happy is the key

so much smoke around Ross Barkley now I'm concerned if we don't sign him soon he's actually going to catch fire.

I always like this approach.

"We want this done today!!!!!"

"Or what?"

"Ummmmm....we'll come back again tomorrow!!!!"

Liverpool Echo now running a story, that Barkley isn't pricing himself out of a move to Spurs and 150k wage demands are wrong...Wonder if this is fed from Barkley side

I love ITK like this.

If it wouldn't result in A&C smacking my arse with his very spiky ban-stick, I'd definitely post a picture of Kevin Bacon at this point.
