Thanks for the info as always ITKs.
Very disappointing to hear we are no longer in for martial, can't see us pulling off any other 'statement signings' now.

In for a long painful end to the window I reckon. I refuse to get my hopes up that this window will be different to previous ones, I suggest you all do the same.

I Just hope to god that Poch is being backed properly as Atm it doesn't seem that way.

If Andre Gomes or someone of that calibre is our CM Option after the Martial news then god help this place.

Its very interesting that Herc was extremely positive way before the window opened and its now looking more and more like standard spurs business. I know there is still time to go but my optimism and faith in this window is at rock bottom atm. Lets hope something good...anything good is on the way!

No point getting indignant - we will definitely sell them Toby. We’ll paint it as following Poch’s orders but the reality is, we’re bottom feeders that have somehow overachieved for a few years.

If we aren’t relegated next season, I’ll donate £50 to SC.

The martial signing was exciting for me because... I’m a fan and signing such a great talent, a french one at that, is exciting.

But it never really made sense to me. If the biggest incoming is a CM and some of the wide forward money goes towards that then I am very happy.

Expensive cm, expensive cb if Toby goes and we want to play 3 at the back, good but not outrageous attacking option and Grealish.

Yeah I know and its interesting how different all of the ITKs come across in their posts. Im clinging onto us keeping everthing under wraps but its looking less and less likely

I miss old Herc. He used to be an unbridled bundle of joy, effusing with positive thoughts, barely able to get his thoughts out in a coherent fashion.

Now, he just sounds like a beaten man, consigned to his fate.

I wonder if he got married this off-season.

No one expected Sanchez, Aurier and Lucas last year and, whatever you think of their performances so far, they all look like ambitious signings.

Anyway, back to the ITK and @rebrab's post sounds interesting. Fingers crossed.
