So "sky sources" say we're to hold talks with Atletico and beleive it's about TA, and ITK says we're interested in Suarez, so I'd assume sky are right about the talks but wrong about the player.

The more JJ keeps going against the media links the more I think it's agents games. Sky did a similar report on Kono last week and nothing happened. No surprise TA and Kono have the same agents, as well as a lot of our media linked targets unsurprisingly.

I think this agency is whoring its players out. DL may make a deal for one but I don't think they are prime targets.

Just have to hope we are busy behind the scenes. Mario Suarez was kept quiet until today for example.

JJ has actually back pedalled a little bit on TA and after initially saying a flat no, he then started to say that he didn't expect it to happen as it was complicated.

It's possible the goal posts have moved I suppose and maybe the deal is more do-able now? We'll see I guess.

I fancy a nice little double deal for Alderweireld and Suarez

I don't think he has moved any goal post.
He can only say what his sources know. Sometimes, things may take time to reach ITKs or some ITKs get news faster than other ITKs.

JJ is more believable than anyone IMO.

JJ would certainly seem to be suggesting that the reason it wasn't 'on' was because of quite a LARGE factor which would make it unlikely we'd be going back in for him. A. Madrid or Toby's agents must have been playing some dirty tricks and Levy has been riled by such a move.

Remember the ITK about how Levy has continued to stick to his guns over Abramovich not being allowed at the Lane over his refusal to wear a tie in one of the WHL suite/function rooms - he can be a stubborn so-and-so. This might be a similar scenario where JJ believes Levy is refusing to go back and deal with them because of whatever happened

You misunderstood me dude, wasn't saying JJ has moved anything. I was suggesting that the deal itself may now be easier to do than it was before and thats why JJ has changed his stance, even if ever so slight.

This feels like it backs up what I was trying to say. The fact that JJ doesnt want to comment anymore suggests things might have changed a bit.

He clearly knows why it wasn't looking likely at one stage but maybe that road block has now been moved....?

From what i remember in dealing with this first hand, even commissioning the system is not enough, the IP needs to be proportioned as a specific item in the contract to physically sign it over on completion and money paid, if that provision doesn't exist it sits with the developers.

On topic: Maybe the TA is old stuff, JJ stuff seems to be mostly up to date so i will lean to his info. The Willian stuff was a bit different because it seemed that the sneaky shit Kia was leaking it, although didn't Ben (he spoke to Cullen or some crap) call it way before POTL as well? someone ITK spurs did, it was only POTL outright denying it at the time.
