If SSN are saying we've made a 4th bid after the 3rd bid was rejected then surely the 4th bid would be us agreeing what they've asked for?

Last season we made a habit of scoring late goals, lets hope for a late signing

Hahaha in the end Levy still got to pay the full price which we should had and start the season with 2 strikers. All those excuse of waiting for big fish to do their biz is passé.... Bera is no A grade player period.

If Adebayor has no squad number is there any way we are allowed to play him?

4th bid supposedly for SB, guess them not releasing a statement rejecting it gives us some hope to cling on.

Wonder whether Austin staying at QPR affects the deal as he was meant to be a replacement.

Can't for the life of me see anything more than Berahino, and that's at a stretch.

Potentially we could agree a fee with West Brom of £24/25m, get the all clear for the extra 2hrs, and then negotiate the breakdown of how the payments are made up with them, how much upfront etc. Berahino has already agreed his end according to ITK, so no worries there.
To come this close, and still be trying, have to assume it's gonna get done.
Would still like a CM too, but with Mason, Bentaleb, Alli, Dembele and Carroll all still on the books, plus Winks and Velkjovic I could live with that. Strikers, we aren't so blessed. One striker, and a few wide forwards, not the same depth.
Come on, keep believing.

Well, Levy's first objective is complete: we're now all desperate and would at this stage take just a striker, when we actually still need both a striker and defensive midfielder! We've got an hour left until the full (and at this time justifiable) meltdown.

So clearly one of the signings was meant to be Berahino... Who the fuck were the other(s) that ITK's as late as today alluded to?

Certainly can't have been Witsel given we already knew he wouldn't leave this window.

Berahino at best then - what about a midfielder... Nothing, no?

That £5m can't be true?! There's a lot of hot air and BS around this deal in the media, but gawd knows what the outcome is going to be in reality.

I have no idea what that means. I'm stoned though.

It would be embarrassing if we end up with James Wilson. At this stage I'd take him, which says a lot about how desperate I feel our position is for a striker. Don't get me started on cm.

And my optimism makes me think, the 3rd Berahino bid was rejected immediately, but the 4th doesn't appear to have been :cautious:
