That £5m can't be true?! There's a lot of hot air and BS around this deal in the media, but gawd knows what the outcome is going to be in reality.
I think we all know deep down. Some deeper down than others, but we all know.

It would be embarrassing if we end up with James Wilson. At this stage I'd take him, which says a lot about how desperate I feel our position is for a striker. Don't get me started on cm.

Seriously, just fucking wait until we know nothing has happened.

There is zero point moaning about the same thing over and over as 6pm gets closer.

Don't worry. I'm sure news will come out that we have a "deal in place for January" to sign Berahino.

Not really strange as the payments (excluding add ons) may well be bank guaranteed.

This is not so unusual in many transactions, not just football

At which point WBA could discount the guarantees and have the full amount upfront.(-discount fee which wont be much more than 250-500k) assuming 20m + add ons

Levy offer 1: 5m plus add-ons

Pearce: no deal

Levy offer 2: ok, how about 5m plus add-ons

Pearce: um, no deal

Levy offer 3: I'll up it to 5m plus add-ons but I'm getting a bit bored of these games

Pearce: are you kidding me? No

Levy: fuck it we are running out of time, all in 5m plus add-ons

Pearce: ...click

A war of attrition won in the 11th hour with a ninth of our season over. Pyrrhic

Reminding me of MS now. Although a few of us also predicted this is exactly how this would play out with SB eventually at Spurs and the WBA chairman saving face. I'm conflicted, haha...
