Adebayor's agent Paul Smith has just been on Talksport and says a move to Spurs is a complete non starter at the moment. He's more likely to go abroad. It's not impossible but very difficult deal to do regardless.

City are looking to sell rather than loan. Spurs have a few players that they have to get rid of before this deal can happen. Other clubs have registered an interest in him too.

With vucinic not being there for the autograph session he is obviously off. Whether it's to us will remain to be seen. We need to get this wrapped up though.

These south African games are great for fitness but the remaining games when they return will be used to produce player understanding and sharpness. Something our current strikers have no idea about.

I dont understand the excitement about Vucinic. The guy has lost all his confidence and is completely shot. He's no better than what we have already, with the exception of Keane.

I would say Vucinic and Leandro now...with Keane and Crouch going, and if we can shift Defoe perhaps moving for Rossi or Adebayor, although I thinks it unlikely.

Vucinic + Adebayor = Top 4 contenders.
Vicunic + Adebayor / Rossi + Diarra = Title contenders.

I honestly believe with just 2 of those signings we will overtake Arsenal as favourites for top 4, especially if Fibreglass and Lesbian-Face leave without them getting suitable replacements.

Agree. It seems to be shaping up as: Vucinic + Leandro now, then try the rest of the summer for Rossi (with Adebayor as back-up) :shrug:

We dont want to put all our hopes on signing a world class player (Aguero, Rossi, Adebayor) so we should do all we can to get Vucinic.

That will relax our stance when trying to sign a world class player, knowing we already have a top quality striker already in the bag. We'll have to shift a couple first though.

I think Leandro will come in January though. There's no rush to get him in now.

Hope this is the case as well, I'll feel a lot better trying to get Rossi or Adebayor in August if we've already got Vucinic playing for us.

Considerable upgrade and definitely the type of forward we need.

I know youtube doesn't tell us much, but this one of Vucinic starts off with some bad misses, followed by some lovely goals scored,a nice balance i'd love it if the ITK was correct and he signed, much better than our present 4, only Pav on consistent form would come close.

Benny is one of the best left backs in europe, completely underated....Bale would of had nowhere near the freedom to turn in those memorable performances last season if it wasn't for Benny and he deserves a large percentage of the credit for the season Bale had.....full back/winger is as much of a partnership as cm's forwards etc.....
