Don’t get all this chat about benny,
Firstly it is ITK hence Sodium Chloride intake needed,
Secondly it is reported not definite,
Thirdly we only have one established LB,
Fourthly he is one of our better players and DL has stated none of our key/best players are leaving;
Finally he drives a SMART car which is environment friendly

The 19:03 is Benny any good update...

Vucinic deal very close...

Captain Redknapp of the Pirate ship 'Triffic....

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...leaves-we-are-in-trouble-tottenham-boss-harry

"But the Spurs boss is also looking at bolstering his squad before the end of the transfer window.

He said: “We'll be okay, we need a couple of new players, two or three players with ability.
“We couldn't afford Nasri's wages, Manchester City offered him massive, fantastic wages and we couldn't afford him.”

POTL on COYS in relation to Corlukamodrics Vucinic info:

Verfified.

I assume that means verified

More POTL...Responding to someone saying they were relived he hadn't posted in the Adebayour Thread:
Only because as I mentioned last week we were negotiating for Vucinic, talks are ongoing. In terms of Adeybayor this is a goer as well- wages are the obstacle. B&Y.

POTL

Responding to Charlie to Villa rumours POTL again:

Nope. Hutton is Bound there.

Get ready for it to kick off from Monday next week when the squad return from SA.

FourthOfficial said last night more or less exactly what CM said. More verification

No more B&Y talk please. We've had lots of guesses what it means but POTL seems to post it after every bit of ITK nowadays so it's impossible to get any context from it. I'd suggest just ignoring it until he's more explicit as I can't handle a day of everyone guessing it means everyone from Rob Green to Rossi :p

It has been said right from the very start of the wondow by the likes of POTL that we are after TWO strikers though. B&Y still rumbling on after what feels like a month at least.

Rossi WOULD come to Tottenham, that isn't the pressing issue.

I don't think the pressing issue is wages either. I think it's the culmination of both the asking price and a signing on fee for Rossi and his agent. We'd be going up to almost £35m.

#Vucinic misses out on autograph-signing session at #Romatraning camp with #Spurs deal for 17m euros set to go through when #Bojan signs.

Richard Whittle, serie a commentator.

Rossi & Vucinic would be fucking incredible.

Unfortunately, Villareal want too much for Rossi atm... personally I think we should bite the bullet, the chance to sign top strikers doesn't come around very often.

Barca have got Sanchez in the bag then, that means they won't be going for Rossi

Introducing: The Journalist ... http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76276

(Actual member, not like a "The Goat").

who's the Peruvian team mate?

edit: wikipedia tells me Jefferson Farfán (winger/striker) and Carlos Zambrano (defender/defensive midfielder)

Talk Sport says Harry only trying to get Adebayor on loan. I wish he would sometimes play his cards closer to his chest!!

Don't want to discredit any info so will just say that the Journalists news is very different to anything I've been told.

The Rangers link is fairly obvious too due to Enic's shareholding there, some 12 years ago, although since Martin Bain's resignation i am not sure how many of the old guard that DL knew are still there now....

no absolutely nothing....admittedly i am not really as active as i used to be, equally at this stage of the window like many before, there is heaps of hear say and conjecture, which has escalated considerably with the likes of twitter....save to say that the truth is that we must shift some playing staff, we cant just afford to go on collecting players and adding the overhead....we may well be in a position to buy first BUT we must have sales lined up to take place, otherwise we will end up with our hands tied....

I that info is right then I won't post anymore, it would suggest that my source is not itk

Cheers for passing on though nonetheless

Maybe a little clarification is needed.

As his source isn't specifically Spurs, the info he's given is likely to be at an early stage with less details of how things then progress internally at the club.

Jase Ace UK on COYS:
I almost forgot about this. I was told yesterday that there is a £13.5 million offer on the table for Benny. I don't know who from and I'm not saying we are accepting but apparently there is an offer.

Not the sort of news we want to hear but its news all the same.

PS. Unrelated to Spurs. I know a few weeks back I said Enrique was going to the Arse but apparently Liverpool are looking more likely.

Harry wouldn't want to sell disco.

the journalist seems pretty clued up. you can tell from his first piece of info...

'Scott Parker WAS NOT a target...'

one of the very few who are SPOT ON about that.

complete guess work from those sources. how many strikers we sign will be down to how many we sell.

Really - I know different. and I do KNOW

Everything else is interesting though - The PSG and Malaga thing is a bit strange though, all knew this 2 months ago?

lets not turn this into another argument. believe what you wish. whereas i will believe the truth, from the horses mouth.

why even take any of what he's saying in to consideration if you believe the parker info is completely false? surely that disregards his source from the off?

Jo is now an Internacional player, I wonder if anything could happen this evening regarding Leandro

Ekotto is staying...He is very happy here and we are more than happy to have him here

But yes there is a lot of interest in him. Commolli wants him at Liverpool and a few french clubs also interested

12 Months ago I would have loved getting 13.5m for Benni, I personally thought that he seemed to cost us goals - and he did make mistakes that cost us goals. One I remember, although I can't remember against who, was when he sliced a kick from the left and it went out for a throw on the right side of the box and they scored from that, I'm sure there was a cock up against Man Utd as well but my memory is crap! I think he cost us a goal against Blackpool this season when he hestated and Ormand scored, plus I'm sure there were a couple of others the season before.

However last season I thought he really came of age and had a great season and on that basis I would be sad to saee him go if he did but my feeling is unless they offer silly money we wont play ball.
I think he looks a better player with Bale in front of him. Naturally having a proper left winger helps him anyway, but Bales workrate in getting back to help is great too. With Modric on the left, he was getting a bit more exposed because of Modric drifting infield to create. He has more of an outball with Bale now because he can play it down the line more rather than try a more ambitious ball out.

All true, but his best partnership in my opinion was when Modric was injured (and not yet a CM) and Bale had yet to emerge. In front of him was one Niko Kranjcar, and the two of them in the first half of 0910 season were just orgasmic.

Wonder if the Benny bid was from Paris St Germain. They've won the lottery by the looks of it, and bidding obsene amounts of money for players.

I love Benny, but for £13.5m I'd think about it I guess. Not sure who we could get in to replace him, that would be my worry. So maybe I'd lean towards keeping him, personally.

I wouldn't say Bale has more workrate than Modric. Bale is actually a very lazy defender and rarely offer BAE cover.

Just caught the end of an interview on talksport with Adebayor's representative Phil Smith. He said he doesn't think he will go to Spurs. Anyone hear the full interview?

it will drag on all summer and will be wholly dependent on what Madrid do I would imagine, was that his agent then?

Completely agree. That's why he's not a good defender, he also doesn't read situations well either.

Vucinic and Leandro is more viabile in nearly every way the more you think about it....with the latter being prepared to be gradually introduced.

Would love Vucinic and Adebayor but just dont think its likely.

Agree. It seems to be shaping up as: Vucinic + Leandro now, then try the rest of the summer for Rossi (with Adebayor as back-up)

I would say Vucinic and Leandro now...with Keane and Crouch going, and if we can shift Defoe perhaps moving for Rossi or Adebayor, although I thinks it unlikely.

Vucinic
Leandro
Pav
Defoe

and I'll be happy enough with that....
