I think he’d be excellent to have around for cup matches. We can play him up front with Scarlett - he can be Dane’s minder!

I still don't want him, that's not changed...but then I see Bergwijn and Moura and think well they piss me off so I'd be ready for him.

Honestly, bringing in Traore and selling Sissoko is probably the best like-for-like replacement we could do. I for one am excited for 4-5 more years of Sissokoesque runs and end product. Just think how wonderful it’ll be when Traore gets his first goal for the club on his 100th appearance in 2024. Magical stuff, fellas. Magical stuff.

In all seriousness, he’s a super talented dude but feels like he’s “much of a muchness.”

Sissoko has never got even close to having the dribbling ability of Traore.

Kane, Dele and Son are players that are known for their ability to finish chances. Adama creates chances. No-one in our team regularly creates chances. For me this is a no brainer. Imagine the havoc Kane and Son in particular could create with the space provided by him running with the ball!?

You back your manager!…

I'd question Nuno's judgement then. He isn't at the level we need to improve us sufficiently. If Nuno doesn't work out Traore becomes more deadwood we struggle to shift in two years. We know how hard it is to sell players that don't cut it, signing a RWF that doesn't score is madness to me.

Yesssssss!
All of your moping around in every thread under the sun and *this* is a transfer that you think will help? Traore's a one trick pony who contributes absolutely nothing when he's not doing his one trick. Yes, it's a hell of a trick, but his end product is shocking and he's so goddamn selfish. He looks like a nightmare to play with, never mind against. If there was a table of the number of times players had shot exasperated glares at a team mate after he's made the wrong choice when it comes to an end product, Traore would be at the top of it and it wouldn't even be close.

If he was like £20m that'd be something but he's likely to be nearer 50. It'd be a tragic waste of funds.

Seems slightly odd given what we’ve been hearing about Paratici’s plan and methods to then go and blow a huge wedge of our budget (at an inflated cost) on a player picked by our manager, who although having worked with him before it would be a hard sell to argue he had him thriving and pulling up trees. I’d also be concerned about what this says about the brand of football we can expect as he is a counter attacking player.

You back your manager!…

We have a Managing Director, Football and a Head Coach not a manager.

The MD,F needs to be planning long-term and not buying players just to please the coach.

After all, in all probability, the players and the MD,F are going to be at the club longer than the manager.

I for one am incredibly excited to spunk another £40m on someone who we won't be able to sell in 2 years time. Fantastic business model.

Surely wolves would want huge cash for Adama though?! If spending that sort of cash be better on a CB as we badly need a partner for Romero more than a slight upgrade on Lucas
Whispers quietly, Sissoko and Winks maybe? Bet that makes you rethink. That’s just my nonsense by the way

Great way to waste money right there the lad can’t pick a pass or shoot

That’s a lie, he creates so much space for other players to exploit. Takes two or three players out of the game and gets fouled constantly.

Ive had to reduce my expectations now of course, and Traore is probably one of the better players we can get right now. However of course him alone won't be enough, need a 10
