So all of a sudden no striker, even though we were promised one, and two if Kane left.

No second CB, even though it was promised. Because Dier/Sanchez are back.

No new midfielder, of any description, attacking or defensive.

No right back.

What we are getting is 10m punts on teenagers. Barcelona B? Jesus Christ.

The wheels falling off the window heading into the last week as usual.

As A&C says, of course it’s groundhog week.

CERTAIN of 5 in a week ago, then it was 4. Now it’s literally zero.

Expect nothing else lads. Paratici love in, give me a break. Signed 3 good players but we are weaker than last game of last season.

Lots needed this week to even break even as far as this window is concered. There is not a hope of us signing Traore, they’ll want 50 or 60m and we’ll act surprised and do fuck all.

You seem to be rather pent up about this.

So ideally we want a loan to buy on the wolves lad. Hi, can we take (apparently) one of your top top talents but pay Jack up front giving you less money to get a replacement.

oh hold on, here comes Jorge, now I fee really queasy.

stinks. All of it.

The thing we need most is someone in Ndombele's position who actually gives a fuck and has the right mentality. We need to tie midfield and attack otherwise it's going to be another season like the last one.

I think the issue (as with most things in this forum) is that people think one snippet of information from a particular source on a particular deal is the sum total of all the information out there. Rather than treating it as an insight into potentially another area of interest.

It doesn’t make any previous information invalid nor does it mean those previous interests aren’t still maintained.

The ITKs generally speaking aren’t SSN, reporting ALL of our activity on the hour every hour.

No news about a particular area doesn’t mean nothing is going on regarding that.

Could be worse - we could have signed a back up goalkeeper for 25million

Never change Tottenham, you beautiful transfer incompetents. We’re rubbish when we spending big money (Ndombele, Sanchez & Sissoko are our three biggest transfers) and we’re rubbish at getting targets over the line. And yet we were in the CL four years in a row.
I love this bloody club

I think it's less the getting targets over the line part that's the issue and more that we cannot afford to accommodate the wages of all those we desire to shift at the same time bring in new players, we're not a city or chelsea; we cannot just stockpile players we've no intention of playing.

You or I would have a personal desire to move elsewhere if we were told we're surplus yet some are just happy to sit and collect the money for not playing.

Players we may bring in could on paper be better than those we try and shift but who knows what clauses are in certain contracts, we sign player X a CM on 200k a week and Winks, Sissoko Etc may have a knock on clause that means they have to have their wages bumped meaning they've now even less incentive to move.

Being a London based club, that at least recently competes up the sharper end and despite reports/agendas we pay decent wages, means it's always going to be an issue shifting players, even if we take a hit on the fee the players have still got to want to move.

I'm not too enamoured by this Traore news TBH.

Shoyld of knew same story every window, we will buy players then into last couple of weeks are expectations are lowered and lowered. Then oh we tried but were unable to get rid of fringe players and we couldnt find quality better than we have! When are we going to stop falling into the trap every transfer window.

I'm more worried about the centre of midfield than I am backup for Kane really. We've seen countless times, even with Kane in the side, our inability to control games and have our midfield deemed virtually non-existent.

And have a player who isn't motivated or wants to play really? Not the best solution is it!
I mean he can easily stay and in next two weeks the same player will be used.
And what you said didn't stop Kane from playing yesterday.

when did you start supporting spurs?

If more than 1 year ago why are you surprised by the summer chatter vs the reality?
