So all of a sudden no striker, even though we were promised one, and two if Kane left.

No second CB, even though it was promised. Because Dier/Sanchez are back.

No new midfielder, of any description, attacking or defensive.

No right back.

What we are getting is 10m punts on teenagers. Barcelona B? Jesus Christ.

The wheels falling off the window heading into the last week as usual.

As A&C says, of course it’s groundhog week.

CERTAIN of 5 in a week ago, then it was 4. Now it’s literally zero.

Expect nothing else lads. Paratici love in, give me a break. Signed 3 good players but we are weaker than last game of last season.

Lots needed this week to even break even as far as this window is concered. There is not a hope of us signing Traore, they’ll want 50 or 60m and we’ll act surprised and do fuck all.
Not sure what's worse the fact someone literally posted this or the fact there are 6 more idiots out there that gave it a winner rating.

Looks like it’s nap time and a couple folks need a beddy bye.

Still a week left and we’ve heard it could be pure chaos. Let it play out.

If we keep Harry, getting Sarr AND Moriba plus Tomiyasu/some wide player would make an incredible transfer window.
As we struggle signing world class players with no Champions League, bringing hot prospects is the next best thing we can do. As we did with Dele, Erisken or Hugo, who made our most successful Premier League team or even earlier with likes of Bale, Lennon or even Jenas, which made me support the Club at the first place.

There has to be a cheap striker option out there. If we can do Sarr, Adama (not a big fan but whatever), Tomiyasu and a striker backup while keeping Kane that’s a helluva window considering the circumstances. Will set us up fine for the first half of the season, in my opinion. That’s 4 “in” over the next week, but Sarr likely will go back on Loan.

I remember a link to Terem Moffi at Lorient which, like most links, has gone cold. Herc hinted there was an unnamed striker we had eyes on.

Things we've been told:

There's money available regardless of Kane going. Romero is a loan with option, seems we are trying to do the same with Traoré.

Incomings are not reliant on outgoings

1 striker 2 if Kane leaves.
Now is appears Son will be pushed up top and again no competition/backup for Kane.

Levy knows he needs to invest and CL is the priority. We have just over a week to go and the only links appear to be highly rated kids, I do love these type of signings but we are currently weaker than the end of last season. Even if we got the 2/3 kids and Traoré I don't see a top 4 challenge.

Over the years I have learned to keep my expectations very low regarding Spurs transfer windows.

I expect zero signings every window. That way I’m pleasantly surprised when we sign someone instead of devastated and let down when we have a poor window. I never get my hopes up because I don’t want to be disappointed when it doesn’t pan out.

I let myself get my hopes up over the manager search when I thought Conte/Poch were possibilities…Never again.

I'm pretty level headed on here, but i can understand the disappointment. Yes there is a week to go but the information being very positive, pretty consistently, for the last 6 weeks is now in the last week of the window becoming pretty underwhelming. It is a bit de javu, which is a shame. But i'll see where we are next tuesday

I mean he can easily stay and in next two weeks the same player will be used.
And what you said didn't stop Kane from playing yesterday.

Kane has missed 1 game (bench for another) for how many season, and managers? He has always played when fit (or when he thinks he is fit. Ndombele has been here a couple of season and all managers have struggled to get him fit and in a mental state to play regularly. Not a good comparison. But a topic for the nbombele thread I feel.
