if the latest itk is correct then we have some serious issues.

letting a 30mil+ player rot in the stands is crazy. one man does not make a team.

I would love luka to stay but if it means keeping a player that dosen't want to ware the white shirt anymore then we should just sell him and spend the money on wisely.

Whatever Dragon says we won't let him rot in the stands we'll play him and he will behave.

As stupid and vocal as Redknapp can be notice that the "chairman is dealing with it" is always his strapline. He rarely admits a deal is done and go back to the time he said he wasn't interested in player x and then player x walked past the window when he was being interviewed. (Can't remember the player or the club he was with at the time). I'd prefer to believe Dragon, Archie, Peanut, POTL etc.. over anything Redknapp comes out with.

When did this happen??

Yeah, we want video evidence to  at Redknapp over!

Don't take this personally, and I'm not going to get into a debate in this thread on the subject (it is explained in full in the Modric thread), but I really don't think you understand the issues at all. I am so glad Levy is running the club and not you. No offence.

When did he say that mate? surely they would have had to have been registered or at least the paperwork put in by friday to play on monday?

He has 5 years to think about that though, 5 years to change his tune, 5 years to realise that he acted like a fool, come back cap in hand and play for his chance to share in the Glory that we'll achieve.

And we will achieve it, I believe that 100%.

I've said it before, no player is bigger than the club, Modric is not bigger than the club.

Levy is in the process of demonstrating this to him and the rest of the World.

Fair enough, your opinion is your right, personally i'm the complete opposite and do not believe a word of what POTL, Peanuts, Archie etc until its on the OS.

I think as well that if you actually go through these ITKs history, they would have got more wrong than right, thus bringing into the equation, Law of Averages.

Law of Averages would tell you that if you throw enough names into the hat, one is bound to be pulled out of said hat.

Not bashing ITK at all, because tbf some have called things way before the rags and SSN have, i just like to keep my sanity by using law of averages as an excuse.

Also they all must have been on holiday when we signed VDV.

That only works if we actually do something int he market though. If eve just plays tough with Modric and keeps him and fails to sign a striker then a part of me would feel that Modric had a point.

His timing was awful, if he came out now with what he did at the start of the window though I could almost accept it. We need to match our toughness on the Modric issue with some ambition. Otherwise the story will start to make Modric look like the victim.
